That would be me...the spouse just puts up with it .

Same here.

My Dad was the real nut when we were younger. He visited the MK a few weeks after it opened, and made sure we were at EPCOT the month it opened, as well. My Mom just loves all the movies. She stil buys them when they're released.

It's funny, because I think my Dad WAS like that. He was in MK in 1972 after saving up to get there, and was in EPCOT in 1983. He also had a ton of Merch and maps and stuff that I inherited.:D I wonder what happened...:(

I would be the biggest nut between the two of us.

After we met in college, I worked on "educating" my wife in all things Disney, particularly with classic Disney films and animation. She was a pretty fast learner, and loves to go to WDW almost as much as I do. (she was also a deprived child, and did not visit WDW until a trip in college gave her 4 hours in the MK. Her first full fledged vacation in WDW was after college when I proposed to her.)

Fortunately, she doesn't think I am too nutty. She was actually the one who guided me to this fan site, four years ago.

Their son, me, is the biggest nut in the family. My sister is a huge Disney movie fan when I love the movies but have a better knowledge of the parks than anyone else in the family.

hmm... we are both disney nuts, but i think he has to beat me on the pure fact that he works for the mouse and is so passionate about it, and then suggests we go play in the parks on most of his days off. (we are a pure disney couple, we met at disney, got engaged at disney, got married at disney, spent some of our honeymoon at disney. lol)

Me by far! I'm so bad that I will go to the parks (WDW and DL) whenever I get the chance while traveling on business! And when I'm not there, I'm listening to Disney music! Call me a freak...:D

I'm the winner in this catagory!!!

My wife introduced me to Disney the first year of our marriage (1977). Little did she know or realize the Disney monster to be unleashed!! If I had my way, we would NEVER vacation anywhere BUT Disney World. We try to visit the World about two times yearly from Massachusetts. I am 66 years old, grew up on Disney films, cartoons, and TV shows. I still love the magic of WDW and will till the day I die. :ROFLOL::sohappy:

No! Your dad grew up! He didn't just get older, he grew up! You have to do something about that....

I don't have a spouse but I do have a son. He wants to go to WDW just to go to Wide World of Sports. Whatever. The rest of my family thinks I should grow up and go somewhere else for vacation. I have given up on them....though I did have a planning video sent to my sister's address. I just won't tell her. :D

I can relate to all that was said here so far. I am a Disney addict! There I said it! That is the first step right? Only I do not want to be cured of this addiction! :D

For me I fell in love with Disney as a young child. Growing up so close to WDW and being a daddy's girl, he would get season passes every year to make his little girl happy. We would go many many times a year. This only fed my addiction!

I talk about WDW everyday and spend all year planning our annual trip. My DH (who is not that into WDW) and even our kids (who love WDW) find it a bit annoying at times. I also play my WDW CD's though out the house. I also DVR any WDW special that plays on the travel channel and watch them over and over. And I will admit that I get almost to the point of crying everytime a WDW commercial comes on the TV.

No spouse here whatsoever, (early bachelor :lookaroun), but I am THE Disney geek in my household. :king:

My mum is the most extrovert fan, though. If a woman during the Family Fun Day parade didn't walk the choreographed route down Main Street USA in your video-tape, but danced wildly, then that would be her. :)

My dad...well, he "claims" to be, but only went once when he had a AP, and it was mostly the Pleasure Island theaters!:mad:

It doesn't surprise me, since 1971, my parents visited WDW, but he would rush through EVERYTHING! Then leave early! :fork:

Why is still a mystery to me...

I thought I was going crazy by how often I visit Disney sites and my constant planning for the next trip. I didn't know there was an actual syndrome that drives us!! :ROFLOL:How do I get Disney park music loops? I want to drive around making everybody crazy, too!!! We are going to WDW Sept. 17-24, so if I can get the music there that would be great.

Umm that would be me! My husband is happy we are going but he gets so angry with me when I talk about Disney. He said he will be excited on Oct 1. Our trip is Oct 17. Whatever!

That is definitely me. My wife has just accussed me of being obsessed for reading the forums. Second is my eldest daughter who is 16. She wants to go on the college programme. I book it, plan it and talk about WDW all the time, Very definitely OCD.:king:

Well, we're both about the same now, but I've always been the nut. I convinced my wife to go to WDW for our honeymoon and she 's been hooked ever since! We now enjoy planning our WDW trips together. :D
