yep would have voted for stitch or speedway first...seem the most likely to me.

the others probably won't be closing any time soon.

but for the poll, I voted for Tiki Room
One can only hope!

(If we can dream it...then we can do it!)

Oh, that's right :hammer: I would vote for Stitch all day, but out of the ones to choose from (not being what I want to close, but being what I think they will replace first ...... I don't want any to go:cry:) ..... I'd say either SFRTH (Tarzan makeover), or Tiki Birds

No doubt. The TL raceway should go.

I agree with you. I know people invariably bring up the "what about the children" argument, but this one of the only classics that I could say should go, hands down. It's very niche, once you get past about 6 or so, there's no real reason to ride it, and even then, it's more of a product of it's time, because there are plenty of ways kids can drive or simulate driving these days. You can make the argument, that many of the new additions don't really fit the Tomorrowland theme, which is true, but this has never fit the theme. They just threw a car ride in between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. It's also, noisy, smells, and takes up a bunch of land that could be used for at least one big attraction, if not two or three smaller ones.

Of all of the attractions on the list, I think the least likely to close is Monster Inc. Laugh Floor. For one thing, people overall really seem to enjoy it, even if it is in a weird location (Tomorrowland?!) For another, there's a sequel to the movie coming out, which is likely to be successful. So Disney has no motive for removing the show.

As to which is most likely to leave, I guess I'd have to pick Swiss Family Robinson treehouse. I don't think it's all that popular these days.

i wish we'd really get a vote as fans. adventure land has tanked. the tiki room has sold out, the carpets are out of place, and pirates can't carry the entire land.

what i don't understand is the tree house. yes, it's a disney classic- and i'm ALL for that! but for who, for what? there's not real draw. no real guest flow. no thrill. and most importantly in a disney/ walmart environment, no real marketing value. yes im poking fun... but seriously...

there's no movie tie in. why does it stay? cop has some lore, as does many other projects including the tiki room- which NEEDS no revert to it's old format!

adventure land is a mess....

Others and I have already pointed it out in several threads, an attraction at a Disney park can serve more functions than being only a crowd magnet. Some of them are important for the entire feeling, the immersive quality, the atmosphere. There are several attractions that are important as a background for the setting, others are bringing in what the imagineers call "kinetics", movement of any kind. Swiss Family Treehouse is an absolute essential element in the Adventureland setting, it mingles perfectly with the jungle background, it serves as an impressive weenie that attracts guests to venture deeper into the land, etc. Take the tree away and AL looses a lot of it's character.

I chose Monster's Inc. not because I didn't like it but the others are classics and would not want to see them go nor have Disney take them away.

If "None of them" was a choice, I would've picked that one.

Still, this is yet another totally unnecessary, useless and overdone topic and poll style.

I say Stitch needs to go. Seems like a majority of people strongly dislike the attraction. If you look at its reviews in the attractions sections of this site, there's proof:

I've never been on Country Bear Jamboree, but it seems to be going downhill from what I've heard. . .

Don't take everything you read on a website like this as fact.

The internet folks are, in reality, a very teeny-tiny minority.
