Although not listed, I feel that Nightmare Before Christmas deserves a ride. Maybe a dark ride in DHS, taking the spot of Sounds Dangerous. That would rock!

Surprised at some of the results so far. I think I'd take any of those :D

I think a classic dark ride with Bambi would be very nice. Anything (ok almost anything) Jungle Book would be good.
Maybe not a particularly successful film, but I could see a 'The Emperors New Groove' ride, maybe a flume style ride similar to *gulp* Dudley Do-Rights Ripsaw falls - in tone. I.e. a comical series of events surrounding a ride through kuzcotopia. Wouldn't fit any lands i can think of though.

I adore Mulan as well.. and I love martial arts, so merge the two. Use the training montage as a basis and launch a couple of fireworks.

Hercules would make a very good dark ride or thrill ride, as would Mulan. I think Beauty and the Beast is very under represented. Yeah it has the horribly outdated show at DHS, but it needs a dark ride. That is one of Disney's best of all time and it barely has anything in the parks.

I personally really enjoyed The Black Cauldron, but it seems to me as though Disney is trying to pretend that movie, as well as Treasure Planet and Atlantis: The Lost Empire, never existed despite the fact that all three of those films could make great attractions (Treasure Planet simulator, Atlantis boat ride, Black Cauldron dark ride).

I vote for the Apple Dumpling Gang.

Funny you mention that. I just got finished watching it tonight.... Don Knotts and Tim Conway .. What a great comedy duo...

I would like to see Mary Poppins attraction or a Lion King Dark Ride.... I would really like to see a Pinocchio or an Alice in Wonderland ride

I went with Robin Hood although Sword and the Stone or Pinocchio would be pretty cool too. But I think Robin hood lends itself to awesome animatronics and could be made into a cool Splash Mountainesque attraction. I can hear the music now..."Little John and Robin Hood runnin' through the forest..."

That would be PERFECT. They could have riders approach a group of trees with arrows sticking in them on one side, and royal archers on the other, and they could blast little air jets to make it sound like arrows are flying. A little ways down from that, they could have little reeds sticking up from the water, and then anamatronic Robin Hood & Little John could pop up out of the water, look around, and then go back under.

If only...

Oh then there is the scene with Maid Marions chastity belt..... Or was that Men In Tites?

I know a lot of people would argue that these movies are really old and young children couldn't relate, but I don't see that as a problem because I'm only 25 and wasn't alive when these movies came out, but I still watched them growing up and love them! :sohappy:

I totally agree- I'm 22 and I grew up watching all the old Disney classics and I think they are great. If Disney marketed them right- they could get people interested in these great classics again.

I always thought The Jungle Book should get a dark ride, or maybe even make a roller coaster called 'Kaa'.

A Jungle Book dark ride would be awesome- I picked Sleeping Beauty because the artwork in it is so beautiful that I think it would make a great dark ride. I was thinking there was no Sleeping Beauty representation about the parks- but they did just add Aurora's dress which changes colors in one of the shops. Still- a Sleeping Beauty dark ride would be a great addition.

Robin Hood and Sword in the Stone are two of the most underrated Disney movies IMHO!!! These are two of the funniest Disney animated movies and the characters are so original (Sir Hiss, Lady Cluck, Archimedes - and not to forget wonderful, marvelous, mad Madam Mim). Aside from the sword in front of the Carousel in MK, I don't think there's anything from these movies in the parks.

Robin Hood theme could be added to the possible Enchanted Forest rumored to be coming...

Cinderella has the castle, that's enough.

Everything else though could use more representation especially those that do not have any kind of shop, attraction or restaurant in WDW.

The Great Mouse Detective, The Black Cauldron, Sleeping Beauty, Treasure Planet, Sword in the Stone, Hunchback of Notre Dame could all make great additions.

It would be great if there was a area big enough to get your picture taken with the characters of their favorite movie (cutouts) like they have made for a few...

Pinocchio, for WDW is the only place it has no ride whatsoever in! (Besides HKDL...)

I would have to also go with:

Jungle Book
- It had a show back in 1998 DAK, but that was really it.
Fantasia - Can you imagine a dark ride based off this film? :D
Hercules - Would've worked for EPCOT if there was a Greece pavilion...
BatB - A thrill ride could be awesome; where to put it is a conundrum...France Pavilion? Fantasyland?
OaC - The subway chase would be pretty epic in DHS. Plus it's such an underrated film, featuring one of my three fav dog breeds!
And Greek food is SO yummy, too!

At the very least, a shop should be opened that carries tshirts and stuff from these movies. I'd love to have a few and I don't wear tshirts that often.

I used to watch Emperor's New Groove twice a week and though I haven't seen it in a long time it is still one of my favorite modern Disney movies! I always thought they could have made a ride that was like the chute to Yzma's "Secret Lab". It could be like a mini coaster, or something to that effect! Honestly, I just want to be able to scream "Yzma! Put your hands in the air!":p

Totally agree! I used to watch it all the time too. It's hugely underrated in the parks. Even if it doesn't have an attraction, I'd still like to see the characters out for meet & greets now and then. It basically goes unacknowledged, and the movie is hilarious!
