I'd have to say the monorail!! Just stepping onto it overwhelms me with that "OMG I'M IN DISNEY WORLD!" feeling.

It's the first thing you get on when in Orlando..The transit to the main terminal at MCO with Jack Wagner's voice..That when you know your back!

Stepping off the plane @ the Orlando airport and smelling and feeling the warm, humid, Florida air as you walk up the ramp from the plane to the terminal does it for me.

As soon as I get on my first ride of the trip, that's when it really clicks for me. I don't necessarily start my trip with any particular ride, but I don't feel like I'm really "there" until the first one starts.

For example, on my trip last week, I started at MK. It was great to enter the gates and take a stroll through Frontierland, but it wasn't until I boarded my train on BTMRR that I realized my trip had started. That's when it really hit me.

I do have to agree with this as well!! We normally head down to florida in the dead of the midwest winters, so when I step out of the terminal, I know we are there!

I drive to Orlando from Pittsburgh every year - and we always pass under the Walt Disney World sign on our way in. That moment does it for me. I always take a picture, even though I have the same picture already.

As for attractions - the ones that make me feel most "at Disney" are The Jungle Cruise, The Haunted Mansion & Philharmagic.

Mine is driving in and passing downtown disney. I cant help but to stop and get out and walk around and take in everything disney around me. It gets me going before we even head to the hotel to check in.
