Which ADR's should I book first?

I, like many of you, will be getting up early this Tuesday to make our ADR's for an upcoming late February trip. I plan on making online reservations. There are only three of us. We have the dining plan and will be there for ten days. I think many restaurants will fill quickly but I am not sure which restaurants fill the quickest. Which of these restaurants would you try to book first?

Kona Cafe
Kouzzina
Mama Melrose
Coral Reef
Olivias

All reservations are for dinner except Akershus.

Everyone has their own method. I personally start with CRT first - and then go day by day, making each ADR. Others start with the ADR's that are the most important to them or the most popular places to dine...like Chef Mickey.

I'll be getting up early on Tuesday too! I can't wait! :sohappy:

DH and I always book the dinners that are in high demand (CaliGrill, V&A's). Look at the ones you wouldn't want to miss and then do the ones that the time is flexible.

I'm not sure which of those would be more popular than the other!?! I'd follow others advice and book the ones that are most important to you first!

If Mama Melrose is for a F! package then I would book that first! I've heard they book up quick!

Mama Melrose - if with Fantasmic dinner package, otherwise do it after Yachtman

Mama Melrose [unless you want the Fantasmic! package, then start with this]

Honestly, except in the very busiest of Free Dining, the last two are walk-ups almost any time. It doesn't hurt to have an ADR, you'll wait slightly less time if they have a rush of arrivals.

Just to toss in my two cents...I would do the princess breakfast right away if you are traveling with a little girl.

I would book Askerhus first, then Kouzzina. I had trouble getting a dinner ADR for Kouzzina when I tried a few weeks ago. Friday and Saturday nights were booked solid, despite my calling at 7:00 AM sharp. It's new, so it's in high demand.

I would also book Akershus first. I had a hard time getting this one for our trip last year and IMO it's def. one you want to have if you have a little girl.

I'm confused about the OP saying they were booking tomorrow for the end of February. We are going on Feb. 11 and I thought we could not book until Nov.14th, which would be 90 days out. Am I missing something?

When we booked our upcoming trip, I was shocked by how hard it was even at 90 day out. I found it REALLY hard to book our first night because so many people are booking 90 days and then for their entire trip (so 94 days or so). So our first night had to be at someplace that isn't usually crowded. Just fyi - in case you were planning a really nice place for your first night - you might want to swap it on your schedule.

If you are doing Mama Melrose for the Fantasmic - book that first and have a few nights that you would like to do it. At 95 days out - it was already booked solid. And I believe (I might be wrong) that you can't book Fantasmic dining online - it will have to be done on the phone.

Other than that - I would book your Princess breakfast first - character meals go fast. Coral Reef for dinner also goes really fast so move that to the top of your list.
