Well, I guess there is someone who really likes old baseball cards. According to this online report in Google (from station WABC in N. Y.), somebody just bought a 1952 Topps baseball card of Mickey Mantle for $2.88 million! :jawdrop:

(Hmm . . . I think baseball cards used to be sold in sealed packs with a piece of bubble gum. I'll bet the gum is gone--poor guy, for $2.88 mill, he probably got gyped of his gum. :cautious: )

I wish you hadn't posted that, because I clearly remember using at least two Mickey Mantle rookie baseball cards to make that cool motor sound in the spokes of my bike. That was some expensive motor noise.
