Ha! My brothers used to do things like that, too. Kills me when I think of what we all pitched (cards, toys, games) some of which are worth a lot of money now to collectors.

But it's a very fickle, specific market for collectables. A friend of ours is a baseball card trader, and thank goodness it's only a hobby to him (he has a regular day job). He's bought, sold, and traded cards for 25 years; and essentially, he has lost way more than what he took in.

Interesting you should say that, because when someone resurrected his thread recently, I saw his avatar and was happy, but not for long. Realized PhotoDave wasn't back at all, but that some other person had just decided to pull up an old thread. I miss PhotoDave, WDW1974, and a few others. Thank goodness we still have Marni. Now, this is not to say that I don't like some of the newer people as well (some are wonderful) , but just that Dave and 74 were the ones that caught my attention, back when I was first signing up.

This thread seems quite interesting I have read some of the past posts. I find myself chuckling and I really don't why because I really don't know what is going on with the conversation but you all seem like really good friends and that is what I really think is amazing. I really would love to meet other Disney fans as the majority of my friends around here just think I am weird. My husband just tolerates me because I cook well and I guess there are other things I do well. :) So I just wanted to pop in and say this little thread of what seems a collection of things made me smile tonight and I hope to be back tomorrow to see what is up. My name is Shailene by the way.

PS - I am a terrible cook, and yet Mike tolerates me and my Disney passion just fine. Maybe your Hubby just loves you. 🙂

Thank You, I actually have a better chance knowing where he is not than knowing where he is. :)
I would think he loves me. He has tolerated me since I met him at a party when I was a Freshman in college and he was a Junior. We have been married since June 23, 2017 and now are expecting a baby that is due on August 15th.

August 15th is a very fine day. My mother gave birth to her first, and best, child on that very day!
