Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

We took advantage of having a reasonably sunny day today and went down to South County to a wildlife refuge I had heard about. It was an old farm that was donated to the Audubon Society back in the 70's and has gradually been returned to nature (I know, icky Nature). There are a few trails, so we did some of them today, probably about 3 1/2 miles or so of them.

A few reminders of its previous life remain, like stone walls,

Our first trail was called Otter Point, so we expected to see, well, otters. But instead we saw ospreys , geese, ducks, and swans

Aye, another season that Russell was robbed.

Another season? I don't believe he was robbed in HvV. Parvati was, though.

From there we headed to a trail called Osprey Point, which surprisingl enough was home to ospreys, This one flew over us with a fish in his talons, perched in a tree right next to the trail and proceeded to eat it. I won't post the more graphic pictures here, but here's a couple of shots - his talons were pretty impressive.

We continued on and came upon this tananger in a tree. He was gorgeous.

I think my Chromebook is on its last legs. I've had to reboot a dozen times tonight and it still keeps knocking me off. If only the desktop wasn't so far away - it's got to be at least 4 or maybe 5 feet away!
