I love making it, but I haven't ever found a good, free program. I wish I had a Mac to use iMovie. I tried WeVideo this time, since our school has free accounts for us. I also liked being able to work on it at home or school. But when I exported it and made it full screen, a lot of the pictures were grainy. You couldn't see the facial features of the kids very well, and that's the whole point... to see the kids.

I used to use Windows Movie Maker, but that's no longer a thing.

I'm currently trying Microsoft Clipchamp. I'm waiting for my (probably) 600+ photos to import into the program. Then hopefully it won't be too long to get them all put in order.
Handbrake....sorry I am days behind, a lot going on.

I got home from the wedding at 9am today... i had planned to just wake up at 9, but my biological clock said differently. But that just meant an earlier start to the trip.

We pulled out at 10:21 am. Right now we are in Illinois. We are taking a different route than normal, which is supposed to save us about 10 minutes. We are driving down past St. Louis instead of the middle of the state.

I drove the first couple hours, then I switched with my dad when we stopped at a rest area. We are thinking about going to Ringgold, GA, but we aren't sure yet.
I have a place in Chicago and TN. Never ever take 55. Everything bad happens there. Take 39 South or any other methods around Chicago to 24 but please not 55! :hilarious:
Postcard Pic!!!! Holey Moses!!!! @fractal your thoughts?

Considering the number of critical comments that are always thrown around that all Americans are morbidly obese, it makes me think that Disney's purchasing department isn't in touch with reality. Large isn't even considered the above situation. Try finding a 1X or a 2X. It is impossible, however just offsite in those gift shops on 192 they have all kinds of Disney T's and almost all of them have the official Disney tag on them. I guess they only want the money from slim folks while on the property. I really can't explain it but any Disney T that I purchased offsite has always lasted longer then the ones I bought onsite and for less then a quarter of the price. I still have one I bought offsite in 2008 and I still wear it regularly.
I quoted myself because I wanted to emphasize that it is always a mistake to make statements like I did about the 2008 T-shirt. I reached for it right after and found a loose thread which led to a spot that had worn through. Oh, well! Sixteen years was a pretty good life span for a $7.00 shirt. I checked out my last Disney shirt purchase made in 2019, onsite for around $25.00, and found holes in the sleeves. You do the math.

The off-site stores are definitely worth it for merch. Problem is, a lot of us don't have a car down there (I rely only on the WDW transportation). Luckily for me, I rarely bought anything, as most of the designs, etc., I didn't really like. But once in a while, there would be one item that stood out, so I'd buy it.

Yup, I know that no car thing can be a bummer. The thing is with me, that is how I started my 48 trips to WDW over 40 years. Always with a car, either my own or a rental. I'd go for at least a week and a half but only spent 4 or 5 days at WDW itself. I stayed offsite on all but one of those trips, but even then I didn't take the Prison bus from the airport and instead rented a car and drove in. I used the car to go to the parks because I didn't want to have to wait 20 or more minutes for the bus to show up or have to cram into one with 60 sweaty people at the end of the day.

I also, as stated many times before, always explored the area. I'd spend a day in the parks and the next day go to the east to the beaches or the Space center or the west and go to St. Pete's or Tampa or south west to what is now Legoland (then Cyprus Gardens) and even to the north to Silver Springs or some other relaxing and very unique places. Those included other Theme parks like Universal and SeaWorld. One trip I even drove to Key West, stayed there overnight and then headed back to my hotel room in Kissimmee the next day, stopping at every parking area through the keys just to look at the waters of the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico by just turning my head left or right. Except for when I financed a trip for my entire family the most I ever spent was about $1200.00 for everything. Those were the days of mostly solo trips, but when I started going in 1983 with four of us I spent around $2000! The big family trip with 11 people in $2008, I rented a 5 bedroom villa just off sight and two rental cars, airfare from Vermont for 7 of them and 7 day non-expiration park tickets for 9 of us came to just a little over $7100.00

We had tornado warnings last night. I took a couple of pics, but then switched to video, which I don’t know how to share.

Anyone else see the Bat signal? It was a lot clearer and more defined a second or two before I took the pic, but the wind blurred it before I could capture it.

It went from daytime to nighttime in less than 9 minutes. Daisy and I had been out for a walk, but there was a frisson of danger, so we both noped it and turned right back around.

I made it back just in time to pull all the chairs in from the balcony; but not fast enough to close the windows before the wind drove the rain in and puddled the floor a bit.
What is toonie size hail? Because I'm thinking Looney Toons and I know it's not that

This morning we went to AK. We walked on Flight of Passage at rope drop, then we walked on Na'vi River Journey, Everest, and Donosaur in that order. We ate some doughnuts from Joffrey's. Then we watched Festival of the Lion King. Thats such a good show. After that we used our converted LL from last night on the Safari. The animals were pretty active. After the Safari we did some shopping and moved over to Riverside.

We just went to French Quarter so I could get a replacement cup for the one I dropped and cracked the lid on about a month ago. Unfortunately the mug is the same design now, but it's made out of so much cheaper materials. I didn't get it because the quality was so low. I might see if I can just order a new lid that would fit.

We were going to do MK tonight for fireworks, but some people are tired, so a few of us will do Epcot to see Luminous in a little bit.

Well, we drove to Epcot. We got out of our car. We took about 10 steps. We looked up. We noticed downpouring rain on the other wide of the parking lot, coming right for us. We got back in our car. We sat in it for about 30 minutes. The rain continued to downpour. We drove back to Riverside. We got back to Riverside. It stopped raining heavily. All weather apps say something different, as has been the case down here this week. It's been the opposite of what is said. We are going to reassess at 7 to see if we want to go back or not.
