Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Son #1 ended up joining Hubby and I today on our trip to Niagara Falls to see the lights.

Sadly, less than a third of the way there, I declared the trip foolhardy and dangerous. The fog was so thick you could scarcely see more than a car length or two ahead of you.

The QEW, the highway which takes you from Ancaster to NF, runs alongside the shore of Lake Ontario for 40+ km. We weren't even on that highway yet, and couldn't see a darn thing.

Before things got even more dangerous, we got off the 403, had a nice family dinner, and returned home safely.

Better safe than sorry. The lights will still be there for another few weeks or so. It's all good.

Yes, better to be safe than sorry. We had a lot of fog here today too but not as dense as what you described.

It was really rather spooky.

The worst of it is that I did not eat my entree, preferring to bring it home and have it for lunch tomorrow ... and then I ended up giving it to Son #1 to take home.

No lights; and then, no Asiago & chicken bow tie pasta for lunch. :(
