Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I've never been a coffee drinker, but it seems to me that the coffee for those things is way over priced.

Isn't it a lot cheaper to just brew a pot of cooffee than to use those little pod things?

There I go again adding extra letters to things....I blame @JenniferS

My husband takes his coffee with him in the morning and likes regular. I sometimes make a cup at home but mostly wait until I get to work, and I prefer flavored. I am also obsessive about my nail polish. Whilst probably not economical, the Keurig beats the heck out of me setting the coffeemaker to brew for him, dumping the extras, washing it and making another small pot for myself (and washing it again). Although I buy my pods at ALDI and they are 50 cents each so it's not as bad as if he stopped at 7-11 on the way to work, which is what he was doing.

50 cents? That's not that bad. I thought it was a LOT more than that.

It usually is - most places here charge $10-$12 for a 12 pack but ALDI charges $5 for 10 (it may actually be 12) and they have the flavored I like. I get the regular pods at BJs and buy their store brand for more like 35-40 cents depending if they have a coupon.

It can be a lot cheaper if you use a reusable filter instead of the disposable pods. Although you still have to wash the filter, it's not much different than having to wash a pot. :)

Too much sugar isn't good for my teeth either. At least that's what my dentist says. But what does he know?
Dentist's have been telling me that since I was 8 years old. 60 years and zero cavities later, I'm still trying to decide if he was right or not. I tended to forget that advice (threat) just as soon as my butt cleared his office door.

It seems that just as soon as I managed to be convinced that cavities were unavoidable in spite of avoiding them, they came up with a new one. My teeth were as strong as iron, but, my gums were going to fall out! When that didn't happen I see now that eating acid based food will dissolve the enamel making your teeth as weak as, ironically, a sugar cube. That hasn't happened either. I fully expect to wake up some morning and find all my teeth laying on the pillow beside me and a large group of dentists standing over me saying... "We told you so!" :jawdrop:

Well, that would certainly make it easier for you to get fitted for dentures.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Yes, but one that can make single servings perfectly and quickly, which I have yet to figure out how to do with a regular 10-12 cup coffee maker. I rarely have a need to make pots of coffee anymore, so I think this machine does save me money in the long run.
Ours gets used 6-8 times/day - over an 8 hour period. Everyone gets their "flavour", hot and fresh.
Works for us.

So now that we are no longer looking for Bob Saget, I figured that maybe someone should look for Kevin McCallister instead. Not like his family is doing a good job with it.

He wasn't there. And security escorted me out when I demanded to see Tim Curry at concierge and ask him about Kevin's whereabouts.

So I then tried looking for Chandler at his old office.

He doesn't work there anymore.

The psychic monkey at Bergdorf Goodman wasn't sure where they were either.

I don't have a caption for these

Today is the 5-year anniversary of the Metrodome roof collapsing! The Vikings-Giants game had to be delayed and played at Ford Field in Detroit.

I'm going to celebrate by looking out at the lack of snow today.

I drove past the new Vikings stadium this weekend, it is being built on the old Metrodome site. It looks really cool, but since I was driving no pictures of it to share, my passenger tried to get a shot but wasn't quick enough. It will be fun to check out the new stadium, but I had some good times/memories in the Dome.
