Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I did watch the whole thing, expecting to hate it, but I didn’t.
I don’t hate it, but it’s a poor replacement for the brilliant gem that Splash used to be.
The animatronics were very life like and it was a nice touch to have Tiana greeting you from time to time.
And that is pretty much all she does. If I didn’t know know the name of the ride, I would never know Safari Tiana is the same Tiana who has, hands down, THE best gown of any Disney Princess.

I know there are multiple, multiple threads in which to comment, but I’m posting here as well … I am SO disappointed in the TBA POV Disney released.

No drama. No tension. So many sparse areas. Dang. Swing and a miss - on a 3-2 count in the bottom of the 9th, with bases loaded, game 7 of the World Series.
seems like alot of screens also

Daisy and I went for a walk that includes about 500m along a nature path. A large black snake darted into the bush as we approached.

Luckily Daisy didn’t see it, as the idiot would have thought it was just a large worm, and she looooooves to eat worms.

Dogs are kinda gross sometimes.

I did watch the whole thing, expecting to hate it, but I didn't. I think that if they had to get rid of Splash Mtn., this was a very good replacement. Colorful and even though it is based on an animation, it seem far less cartoonish then Splash. I will be one of the few to say I think it was a good job and it still had the fun and thrilling drop. The animatronics were very life like and it was a nice touch to have Tiana greeting you from time to time.

Yeah, how real can Disney fans be that they don't realize that Walt Disney's Disneyland creation was almost totally made up of the Characters from Disney Animation or the TV live action. Yes, Walt didn't created Tiana, but he is busy in whatever after life he achieved but Tiana is as much a Disney creation as Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan or Mary Poppins for that matter. Those folks that cannot adjust to change no matter how good it is, will find stuff to complain about and hate it just because it isn't what they were used too.

Just as a foot note, I cannot begin to tell you how many times I have been on Splash Mtn. the most wet I ever got was about three drops of water on my sleeve. Secret is, don't sit in the front. Always toward the back.

It doesn't seem to matter where I sit, I always got moderately to extremely wet on Splash Mt. Most of the time it was just my head and some of my shirt but sometimes it was my shorts and shoes. I hate walking in wet shoes and shorts/pants. Towards the end I just put on a rain poncho and I suspect when I ride Tiana's I will don the poncho for that too.

Florida's weather is always too hot for me. So, I never minded getting drenched at the bottom of that drop! ;)

Fyi: I've read (various sources) that the water jets (or cannons, depending upon who wrote the articles), can be dialed up or down, depending upon time of year, and/or temperature range.

I don't disagree that Splash was a gem, but it was time to retire it and I still feel that there isn't much else that can fit into, what is at its roots, is a Flume ride. There are as many reasons for retiring Splash as there are for keeping it, but if nothing else it has eliminated an incorrect, but very vocal objection with its Song of the South connection.

I'll take your word about the gown because I'm not really observant of gowns especially hand drawn ones. :)

I make a video slideshow for my class of all the pictures I've taken throughout the year. I used a new program this year, and when I went to export it, the quality was not great. It's useable, but I really want the pictures to be crisp and clear. So now I'm trying to make the whole video again in a different program, in hopes that the quality will be better. I have a feeling I'll be up late tonight... I need it done for tomorrow.

The like is for your ambition to make the slide show, hope it doesn’t take you too long.

I love making it, but I haven't ever found a good, free program. I wish I had a Mac to use iMovie. I tried WeVideo this time, since our school has free accounts for us. I also liked being able to work on it at home or school. But when I exported it and made it full screen, a lot of the pictures were grainy. You couldn't see the facial features of the kids very well, and that's the whole point... to see the kids.

I used to use Windows Movie Maker, but that's no longer a thing.

I'm currently trying Microsoft Clipchamp. I'm waiting for my (probably) 600+ photos to import into the program. Then hopefully it won't be too long to get them all put in order.
