Now I buy them off Amazon. I reuse a number of times so the box lasts forever but I need there to be a liner in my wastebaskets.Yah, I always reused plastic bags, too -- liners for trash baskets and other assorted uses. Oh well.
We have to separate our trash. We have bins for plastic, bio, regular, and there are bins for paper and glass, too. And we bring our own reusable bags to the grocery store. If you forget, you have to buy one at the store.I knew a lot of countries ban the use of plastic bags, and a lot of countries think we're weird because we still use them as by far the most popular choice. At least that's one reason they think we're weird................................ anyway... I Googled how many countries ban them and found this map. It's really kind of eye opening.
I know many countries also have much more elaborate recycling programs than us. They have separate recycling bins for different materials. It's just normal for them to reduce, reuse, and recycle.

I'm glad you're all okay!Just wanted to check in. We had a very harrowing morning. We are all fine, no injuries, though it took them about 4 hours to rescue us. It was terrifying, but we are all ok. Spoiler tags so no one is triggered if they don't want to see it.

Oh no! I’m glad that you’re okay. Thank you, Lord.Just wanted to check in. We had a very harrowing morning. We are all fine, no injuries, though it took them about 4 hours to rescue us. It was terrifying, but we are all ok. Spoiler tags so no one is triggered if they don't want to see it.
Glad to hear you're all o.k. That must have been scary.Just wanted to check in. We had a very harrowing morning. We are all fine, no injuries, though it took them about 4 hours to rescue us. It was terrifying, but we are all ok. Spoiler tags so no one is triggered if they don't want to see it.
So scary. Glad you are all OK.Thanks. It was absolutely terrifying and A is pretty traumatized. He just kept saying he wanted to go home and not continue the trip, but now that we're ok, he seems a bit better. We were REALLY lucky. The guys who rescued us said they've been trying to get this road taken off GPS for YEARS because this happens a few times a year. GPS sends people on this road that isn't really a road. It's not paved or anything and you can't tell how bad it is until it's too late and there's nowhere to turn around. It was bad, but it could have been so much worse. Even the car isn't damaged. There were several cyclists and a couple of motorbikers who came up and every one of them was super nice and asked if we were ok and needed help. One of them gave E some bug spray because she's allergic to the mosquito bites....they swell up and get really sore. She can't close one fist, she can't straighten one leg and has to walk bow-legged because she's so swollen and sore, but none of us have any injuries from the incident.
I've seen posts about it on Facebook. I also think National Geographic is doing Shark Fest right now.@PUSH -- Shark Week 2022 is coming up on July 24th. (Discovery channel, DirecTV, plus some streaming options, I believe.)
Didn't realize how popular sharks were on TV!!I've seen posts about it on Facebook. I also think National Geographic is doing Shark Fest right now.
It will never reach the heights of the Sharknado era. That was the golden era of shark television.Didn't realize how popular sharks were on TV!!
