Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Because I have a few relatives that are not members of the site but follow along for our trips, I’ll do a dedicated trip report here in Chit Chat for our upcoming 16 day trip to Pigeon Forge; and then a separate one for the 31 day trip to the Keys.

Apparently I post more religiously here than to FaceBook. Shrug.

Leaving next weekend, so I’ll start it next week some time.

In recent days, we have installed a tailgate assist to the truck (it’s too heavy for me to lift), a wifi booster for the Winegard, and a digital door lock. Yesterday I ordered a dual fuel generator - being delivered this week; and a CAA TripTik, which I’m picking up on Friday. And today, Mike found a bike rack for our two bikes that we’ll install over the weekend.

I’m excited for many aspects of this trip, but for sure the highlight will be seeing our friend @InnKpr, whom we haven’t seen since just before COVID closed the borders.

Sadly, @NYwdwfan is taking a pass on joining us ….
Really looking forward to your upcoming TR. You must be excited with all the new items you're adding to to your camper. And I'm psyched that you'll be able to visit @InnKpr -- a happy reunion for all of you!! 🥰 Please let him know that Minnie says hi, too!

Yeah it’s too close to when my daughter is leaving for college (just 2 weeks later!) so I feel like there are things we are going to need to be getting together and ducks we will need to be lining up.

With over 27,000 posts here, I could post 73 things on Facebook each day for the next year and still not catch up to where I am on WDWMagic. So it's fair to say I do a lot more posting here than on Facebook, yes.

I've been here for 19 years and have only reached 32804. I guess that I am less chatty then some of you,
That might be a good thing?! :p
Tomorrow will be exactly 20 years since I joined up here, and this will be post #19,425.

I'm either a lurker or a slacker.:cautious:

That is something I've never tried. Next time I need to open a bag like the image in my post I will try that for sure!
Thank you!
I had to laugh when the first bag, the one where she was demonstrating how hard to open it would be without the trick, started opening right up and she had to crumple it and pretend frustration. 😆 Sometimes they do open easily (but not often).

I watched Guardians 1 and 2. Then the kids said I would need to see Infinity War and End Game to understand Guardians 3. So we watched them. Then I wanted to have all the background so I went back to Iron Man and took it from there.
As @ajrwdwgirl suggested, I was able to borrow the (Guardians) DVD from my local library, the other day. My review, promised to NYwdwfan:

Watched the Guardians (1st movie in the series), and I wasn't a fan. Not knowing any of the storyline before I watched the movie, I thought the storyline was very disjointed and hard to follow. Also, the film relied heavily on the continual (redundant) fighting scenes, and there was little time to attempt to even figure out why one group was fighting another--before they started fighting yet another group. 🤷‍♀️

All I could follow in the movie was that the main character was trying to protect an orb, from other groups stealing it.

Pros to the film:

I really liked all the songs they selected.

I liked Groot and Rocket. Groot was a uniquely designed character, with a limited vocabulary. Rocket had some really funny lines.

Fyi:
(The other day, I signed out both the first and second Guardians movies from the library; but I doubt I'll watch the 2nd one, since I didn't care for the first one.)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Requoting ….

My elderly missionary Auntie and I saw both of them at the theatre on the big screen. We enjoyed them, but like you, I could do with fewer, less protracted fight scenes. (I feel that way about Star Wars battle scenes too, so what do I know?)
