Thankful for you, too, PUSH! By the way, I thought of you when I watched Pentaonix performing at the Macy's parade yesterday. (Never heard of them before a few years ago, when you mentioned them here in this thread. Ever since, I've been a big fan of their harmonies.)Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am thankful for all of you!
The sad thing is so many, many people young and old would have fallen for it. What a screwed up world we now inhabit. It hasn't improved with generational change. Maybe someone should come up with an exciting cell phone game that would teach people not to be stupid. How dumb do people think I am. I just
Got a call from someone named Harley Davidson from the publishers clearing house saying I won 50 million dollars. They gave me a number . He kept calling me dear.,strike 1) I ask him what was my name, and asked for my address. He said it was on the documents and didn't repete it. he asked if I was excited i said no skeptical then asking what I was going to do with the money strike 2) i said i didn't even enter he said it was from stores locally I shopped at and strike 3) then started to say I needed to send him a registration fee. I said no thank you and hung up
I’ve made a game of jerking these scammers along for as long as possible. The goal is to get THEM to hang up on ME.The sad thing is so many, many people young and old would have fallen for it. My car is a 2019, 15000 miles and leased and I get up to 4 calls a day telling me to extend the warrantee. No matter how often I tell them that bit of information they never take me off the list. I would think they would want to be spending that time on people that might really have a legitimate need, but I guess they are going with the percentages. If I figure correctly about 48% of the population of this country is willing to accept everything someone tells them. (sigh)The scam call that gets the prize, is the one where the caller informs me that my car's warranty is running out SOON, and I can purchase an extended warranty, by clicking "1".
O.k. Two issues here: I bought the car used, after the previous owner had it for about 4 years. Now, even if I bought it new -- it was a 2007 !! I think it's reasonable to say that the warranty ran out quite a few years ago!
We got the wreath at Disney Springs a couple of years ago. Here is a photo of our tree....Maybe some of you have the same wreath as us?View attachment 516124
Tell a little bit about it☺
Medium ribeye steak, Hasselback potatoes with Parmesan cheese, and Greek salad so oniony, I’m going to regret it tomorrow while I’m wearing my mask all day.Tell a little bit about it☺
I could picture myself ordering the same thing except I would likely opt for a Caeser salad.........more mask friendly later that nightMedium ribeye steak, Hasselback potatoes with Parmesan cheese, and Greek salad so oniony, I’m going to regret it tomorrow while I’m wearing my mask all day.
