Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I’m thinking of planting a “victory garden” this year.
We haven’t had one since my dad died. Ski is quite the little horticulturist; he can help.

I’m thinking cucumbers, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, green beans, and ugh, tomatoes. Too late for rhubarb, right?

I’m not sure if we’ll even be able to buy seedlings this year, so maybe I’ll order some supplies and give him a little project. There’s more to life than Nerf guns and video games.

I was just talking to my husband about planting a garden this year too. We were thinking some tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, carrots and onions. Maybe I will do some green beans too. Although, I do like the idea of my own veggies I do not like the idea of weeding it.

Over here there's a story in the news about kids witnessing a domestic abuse incident with their teacher while she was giving an online lesson. It didn't say which media source it was...zoom, google meet, microsoft teams, etc, but the teacher was giving a video lesson and apparently something happened, though for privacy reasons, the news outlet couldn't reveal what exactly that was. But they have counselors to talk to the kids and parents, so I'm guessing it was pretty bad. They called the police and the "suspect" was taken into custody and the victim was "doing ok, under the circumstances." But it was unclear whether the teacher would immediately resume her duties.

I'm a little confused, did the abuse thing happen to the teacher? Or was it someone that hacked into the feed? Too bad for the students to see that though.

I put down landscape fabric and cut holes for the plantings - I still get weeds but it does cut down on them a LOT.

My neighbor just texted me to see if I need anything from Home Depot. I asked for lettuce seeds. He asked what type and I said anything really I just want to start a pot in the house so I can watch it grow. I am literally so bored I want to watch lettuce grow.
Our HD and Lowe’s and all hardware stores close at 11:59 tonight. No longer considered an essential service. Online order with curb side pickup only.

Beer Store and LCBO open. Pot stores (the legal ones) closed. Again, the online store with delivery remains open.

Dougie cut the list of essential services from 74 to 47 for at least two weeks. Guaranteed to be four, I’m sure. April is make it or break it month pandemic-wise for us.

Our local hardware store, Menards, is still open. Along with Farm & Fleet. They both sell groceries and household items, too, though.

I’ve topped out the score twice on this ride, but for sure it’s skippable for me. I’ll take TTA and CoP over Buzz.
As a kid, it used to be more worthwhile than it is now. I would put it in the "average attraction" category.

:jawdrop: Yikes, that's drastic.

Ours have adjusted their hours to shorter days. Some have also limited the number of customers in the store, at one time.
There have been 94 COVID deaths in the entire province - 44 of them unfortunately in long-term care homes.

The next two weeks are critical. Best case scenario, we can be at 200 by the end of the month. Without these additional measures, the projections indicate 1600 deaths. That’s a big difference.

In short, Good-bye April, Hello Grandma.

MA has 192 deaths so far. :(

In some positive news, I have heard that Wisconsin is successfully flattening the curve as of now. We are increasing cases each day, but it's a consistent increase. Not exponential. We are seeing 180-190 new cases each day, which is good. We don't want the number of new cases to keep growing each day.
