Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

It's certainly not unexpected, by now I know the drill. By Wednesday or so next week, the worst will be over and I'll feel myself getting stronger by the day. I know all that. It's just now, that light at the end of the tunnel could very easily be extingusihed by things entirely out of my control. All these months of sacrificing could just be for nothing, and that scares me to no end. I need a hug....

Be careful for those using Zoom! Our principal warned us it's not always secure, even when you have it locked down. I also just saw and article this morning about Zoom's security issues. There are Zoom bombers who can apparently hack in easily to your meeting and will do things like yell racial slurs, etc. Zoom also says it's encrypted in a certain way, but it's not.

Just a head up!
Over here there's a story in the news about kids witnessing a domestic abuse incident with their teacher while she was giving an online lesson. It didn't say which media source it was...zoom, google meet, microsoft teams, etc, but the teacher was giving a video lesson and apparently something happened, though for privacy reasons, the news outlet couldn't reveal what exactly that was. But they have counselors to talk to the kids and parents, so I'm guessing it was pretty bad. They called the police and the "suspect" was taken into custody and the victim was "doing ok, under the circumstances." But it was unclear whether the teacher would immediately resume her duties.

I'm the king. I keep my bread products in the refrigerator and it has never developed any problems no matter how long it was in there. Other then being a little stale, but like I said it could be rejuvenated. I also have kept milk a month past the use by date and it was still good. It is easy to see when milk has gone bad, it has chunks and the plastic it is in expands like my waistline.
Milk goes sour before it curdles, though. You can smell when it's off.

Sending some hugs. I'm sorry, it might take a while to get there....it's a long way to travel, but I hope you can feel them when they get there.

I’m thinking of planting a “victory garden” this year.
We haven’t had one since my dad died. Ski is quite the little horticulturist; he can help.

I’m thinking cucumbers, potatoes, lettuce, carrots, green beans, and ugh, tomatoes. Too late for rhubarb, right?

I’m not sure if we’ll even be able to buy seedlings this year, so maybe I’ll order some supplies and give him a little project. There’s more to life than Nerf guns and video games.
rhubarb is a perennial how about a steak tree or a hamburger bush

No need to cut my own hair. I grow it out for approximately 3 years, then I cut it off up to my chin and donate it. I just cut it in December and it's just above my shoulders again....I've got another 2.75 years. We're bound to be out of quarantine by then, right?

Actually, the other day I cut about 2 inches off the length of my hair. (I did this one time before about 1-2 years ago, and it came out scary . . . :p ). The length is now about 1 inch longer than shoulder length.

What I wanted to share with everyone is that if they're thinking about a do-it-yourself (just a straight-forward cut), there are actually a number of good, instructional videos on YouTube. I found one last week, and followed the woman's instructions. Is it perfect? No, but it looks a heck of a lot better than before I cut it, in spite of me! :)

Thanks. Much appreciated.

Going to try to get some sleep - sorry for my mood tonight.
Please... you have every right to feel what you feel. What you are going through is anything but pleasant and as a human when we see the dangers around us that we cannot control, our instinct is fear and anger. You're only human and none of us should ever stand in judgment of anyone for any reason, but certainly not for legitimate ones. What's that saying... until you have walked a mile in their moccasins?

We got an email from the school district that as of now schools are set to reopen when the stay at home order expires April 15th. Um ok. No casino in Vegas would take that bet. If they were open. Which they’re not.
I'm hearing that we will end up being out the rest of the year, and summer school will be cancelled, whether it's cleared up by then or not.

I only got my hair trimmed once in 3 years before having it cut in December. My hair grows really fast, and I don't usually use product in it. I throw it in a ponytail or a bun and I'm done with it. The exceptions are special occassions or performances. So it stays pretty healthy without needing to be trimmed often. My daughter's is past her waist now because she opted not to chop hers yet. But she doesn't use product either, so it stays healthy, too. Of course, there's no STYLE to it....we just leave it as is. We're not very high maitenance when it comes to our hair.
