Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I love this. One of these nurses is a friend of mine who works in a NYC NICU. This woman does God’s work 24/7. Unfortunately because she lives there, and her husband lives here, they cannot see each other multiple times/month as they usually do.

It looks like she is well appreciated. 💕💕

That’s awesome - at first I thought it was a billboard at the side of the road but it’s on someone’s front lawn!

I ordered TRoS from Best Buy today (but had to pay shipping... Amazon didn't have the hard copies, only digital copies). However, it originally said it would be here next Tuesday on April 6th. But I just got an email said it's shipped and will be here Thursday. Woo!
Set up a FB watch party. I’m in.

What’s for supper, Jennifer?

Baked potatoes, with a garlic salt rub; leftover chicken ribs; homemade baguette garlic bread; and Caesar salad.

Probably eating by 7:15 ... so that’s different, I guess.
My round of "what's expiring soon" led me to having cheeseburgers. We had hamburger buns that expire after today. But I'm going to be a rebel and use the leftover ones tomorrow to make cheese bread for lunch.

I have to say I had awesome nurses at the infusion center yesterday, and they never stopped all day. As I've probably mentioned, I was there from 7:45 AM til 4:30 PM so I got to observe quite a bit. My bloodwork didn't take long nor did my dr. appointment, but the wait for the blood test results was about an hour and a half, so my chemo couldn't start til the results of that were back. Then it's 5 hours of infusions.

Anyway, the place was quite busy yesterday, but those workers never slowed down, keeping everything sanitized, even the pens the patient used to sign the paperwork were wiped after each use. Chairs were totally wiped down as well as any surface that could possibly be touched. All staff wore masks and patients were supplied with one if requested. All this while tending to a steady stream of patients.

I had been nervous about this visit, but felt so confident by the time I was done that I called DH and had him pick up some wrapped Easter candy for them all, which I left with my nurse. The whole staff was very grateful for it, but I felt they deserved so much more!

With all the bad happening in the world right now, there is just as much good! So many people like this doing small things that really do a whole lot.

DS tried to talk us into watching it. No.thank.you!
It's typically something I'd never think about watching... but the whole quarantine thing has me doing crazy stuff. And after one episode I realize how ridiculous all of these people are, and I want to see what happens.

I know where that "ranch" is, not far from a place my sister takes us birding. In fact we've often heard roars from there while watching the peaceful surroundings so nearby. PhotoDave actually warned me about it several years ago.

All of these people are sketchy and scary. I would never set foot in any of their places.
