Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Our grocery store was a zoo today, too! Yesterday I was able to buy a pack of toilet paper, which was on sale. It's the kind I always buy and I only buy it when it's on sale, but I limited myself to ONE package. Today it was all gone....all the toilet paper, a lot of produce, butter, flour...and people were just being so asocial. Standing in front of freezers with the doors open and blocking everyone else from getting to it, cutting in front of other people. It's like the whole world went crazy in 24 hours.
Our world has been crazy for a while now, it just is showing up more with the corona thing.

Managed to get two 6 packs of TP at Walmart tonight. I'm rich!!

The guy brought a box of it out from the back. I grabbed two packs. It was not the brand I usually get. I could have taken more, but I left some for people who might actually need it. We have a few other packs at home from a week or two ago.

Mike told two middle aged guys scuffling over the last of the 99 cent Michelina’s to knock it off.

Even at 99 cents, that’s twice what a Michelina’s is worth. Certainly not worth fighting over.

Whether or not people think we're giving this crisis too much panic, not enough panic, or the right amount of panic... one thing we all can agree on is, when this storm has passed and life returns back to normal... our bums are going to be immaculate!

Is your school having teachers still report to school? A district near us is planning on that. I haven’t heard anything from our district.
I'm waiting to hear from our district, too. We got an email saying admin will work over the weekend to figure things out, and we will be given more information later. I have some things I want to send out to my parents this weekend about schedule changes, so I'm in a wait and see mode.

I think Mike’s office is going to “by appointment only” after today. Most of the other builders’ offices are just closing down, one by one.

I said to him yesterday that it will be nice to spend some time together. I’ve barely seen him in the past 5 weeks. At least when we were working together, we had 2 1/2 hours together in the car every day.

Plus, he needs to go to Lowe’s to get painting supplies. I’ve got lists. Honey-do lists.

We are testing our company emergency plan and IT network by working from home next week. Not worried about the virus at this time, but want to shake out the bugs in our technology and processes in case we would have to do a long term building shutdown. We’re all excited to see how all our planning and hard work plays out...

We went out eagling today. Saw one on a nest at one spot, but no sign of one at the other. But we also went to the Great Blue Heron rookerie. We had stopped there on our way home from the hospital Tuesday and there were maybe a dozen herons there (there were none 2 weeks ago). Today there were around 30. It was pretty neat!IMG_2130.JPGIMG_2114.JPGIMG_2106.JPGIMG_2073.JPG
