Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
That's what I think will happen here. At least 1 or 2 weeks after break.
Two weeks makes sense. One may not be enough.

Parents who don’t have readily available child care may be reluctant to keep kids with a questionable cough home for two weeks. If the schools aren’t open, they’ll have no choice.

That being said, it’s going to be a major scramble for many families. Thankfully, my nieces and nephews are all late teens/early 20’s, so Auntie Jen won’t be pressed into service. I can just hear my brothers now ... “You’re home anyway, just lying on the couch”. 😂

I know parents have trouble finding child care, but some truly are careless when their child is sick. It's not about your child. It's about the rest of the school that has the potential to be infected. This does not just apply to coronavirus.

My hospital has a teaching program with Brown University, and consequently I've met quite a few students in the past 4 months. All have been so enthused about what they learn and experience in the "real world". I can't imagine how different an online experience would be for them.

I always enjoy being on clinical. It’s definitely where I learn the most. I was getting excited about going back to my favorite clinical site for the rest of the semester.

Clinical was certainly interesting today. Next week is Spring break for us, but today they announced we won’t be returning to class after. We’ll be taking our classes online and it looks like all clinicals are cancelled until further notice.

I’m not sure what that all means for us. Most of what we’re learning is hands on.
I hope it doesn’t mess up your expected graduation date!

OK - this is maybe the best Masked Singer contestant ever. Singing the best song ever. Which makes it even funnier. Not sure if it reveals the person at the end - I'll put that part in the spoiler.

It's Sarah Palin!!! :hilarious:

I thought for sure it was going to be
Jennifer Anniston
!

Okay, ADR’s are done.

Could not get ‘Ohana at all. Mike will be sad.

Our last night happens to be a MNSSHP night, which means no HEA, so we decided against Narcoossee’s and moved that to earlier in the week.

Here’s the basic rundown:
The Wave - oh how we’ve missed you
Liberty Tree Tavern (lunch)
La Hacienda de San Angel - new for us, timed for Harmonius
Toledo - timed for fireworks
Oga’s for drinky-poos
Sci Fi Drive-in Diner for milkshakes (and food)
Topolino’s Character Breakfast - also new
Skipper’s Canteen - never dumping this again!
Narcoossee’s - presumably on a HEA night
Frontera Cocina - carne asada, Baby!
Story Book Dining - so much for a final romantic evening
Kona for brekkie - before we hit the road/airport/whichever

Fingers crossed we can pick up a Space 220 ressie when they open.

Okay, back to bed. I’ve got physio later. Yay!

Oh, and for those who missed it - the Prime Minister’s wife Sophie’s test for COVID-19 came back positive last night.

She doesn’t feel great, but not ill enough to require anything more than home treatment and isolation at this time.

Justin remains healthy, but is also in isolation.

Epcot is my favorite park....I am anxious to see it after all the changes. I hope it will still be my favorite.

How much longer is your trip? I saw that all the parks are closing Sunday night. Will your trip be over by then or do you have to miss part of it?

We are leaving as scheduled on Saturday evening. Today is a MK day! I’ll be sharing some construction pictures in my trip report, it was amazing to see the center gutted.

I'm sorry about 'Ohana. I have heard though that if you keep trying sometimes someone will cancel and you can get it later. And you could also try through one of those apps like...what's it called? Open Table? I also used the phone line to make some reservations because it wouldn't work on the computer. I hope you can pick up an ADR later! And good luck with Space 220!
