Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

We are leaving as scheduled on Saturday evening. Today is a MK day! I’ll be sharing some construction pictures in my trip report, it was amazing to see the center gutted.
I'm so glad it doesn't affect your plans! I hope travel goes well...I'm wondering about all the new restrictions of gathering places, etc, how that will affect flights and such. And restaurants, etc.

Going to swing by my brother’s house after physio to say good-bye to their lovely cat. Nobody can quite figure out exactly how old he is, but Kramer is just over 18.

He used to be Mark’s cat, but Mark couldn’t keep him, so J & K took him in. We already had Jack at the time, and Jack didn’t like other cats, otherwise I would have loved to have had Kramer.

Poor Kramie. And one more link to Mark gone. 😢

Bad news/good news/good news:

Bad - I have to keep going to physio for 4 more weeks. My calf and quad muscles are locked up tighter than a drum.

Good - I don’t have to use any of the equipment. I just get to be pummelled and “massaged” for 30 minutes.

Good - They have gone gung-ho with the cleaning and the sanitizer, and are screening people before they even let you in.

I tried to tell Mike about which ADR’s I got and when, but he just kept asking, “Do you really think we’re going?”, so I just went into the app and specified that he was the “other guest”.

So now, when his head is in a better space, he can see all the plans in his own MDE.

I get where he’s at. I was there yesterday. I didn’t even plan out our itinerary until after 10:00 pm last night; I debated about even getting up at 5:40 and just taking my chances mid-day; and right up until 10:45 this morning, I considered bailing on physio.

Life goes on. I see widespread lockdowns coming, but we’re not there yet. Get out there and do stuff while you still can.

Our governor just declared schools closed next week - nice of her to announce it right at school dismissal time. She's calling it a moving up of the April vacation, but teachers are required to report to school to be instructed about online teaching. So in essence the teachers have lost their vacation week. I see a potential union fight in the future!

Usually, I do the grocery shopping on Saturday morning. However, this morning I went, because I thought it might be less crowded than Saturday, since (some) people have been out panic buying. So I got there at 8:00 and shopped for about 25 minutes (some items were not available, but most were).

Then, at 8:25 AM, I got in the one line (that eventually fed into a queue of 25 cash registers). I was in that line for FIFTY minutes until I got to the check-out!!! UGH! (Oh yah--when I got out of the store, it was pouring rain!! And since I had to park in the overflow parking lot, I had quite a trek to get to the car!) :p

“Closed, cancelled, and confined.”
Those are the headlines here. Get used to it.

If you travel out of country ... mandatory 14 day isolation.

Parliament has suspended sitting for 5 weeks. Museums, art galleries, schools, daycares, churches, even the CN Tower ... closed.

And I can’t get an ‘Ohana ressie. What the heck?

Our grocery store was a zoo today, too! Yesterday I was able to buy a pack of toilet paper, which was on sale. It's the kind I always buy and I only buy it when it's on sale, but I limited myself to ONE package. Today it was all gone....all the toilet paper, a lot of produce, butter, flour...and people were just being so asocial. Standing in front of freezers with the doors open and blocking everyone else from getting to it, cutting in front of other people. It's like the whole world went crazy in 24 hours.
