Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I went to my church’s “Souper Bowl” party tonight. For the soups we had Kansas City steak soup and San Francisco crab and corn chowder. The chowder was my favorite. I ate four bowls. I had really good time. It’s always more fun to watch the game with a lot of people.

The steak soup.

And the crab and corn chowder.

I cannot tell you how much I miss that stuff!
I can't tell you because that would be a ginormous lie. I hated that crap back when I lived in it and my degree of hatred has never diminished.
At least I am predictable and solid in my beliefs.
Did my negativity about that frozen crap we call ice and snow kill this thread? If so, all I have to say is... Not Sorry! It had to be said to counter those unfortunate few that see this type of weather as a good thing! If only we could get them to seek help.

It has been rather quiet. We had rain all day and it’s turned into ice and now we’re getting snow. It’s go to be a glorious ride to work tomorrow.....
We were supposed to get a snowstorm, but over the week it's shifted, and now our area is supposed to get almost nothing. If anything, a very light dusting. SE Wisconsin is supposed to get a dusting, but I'm in SW WI. I think the storm shifted toward your part of the country.

So, can anyone answer my question?

Why is that smoke and/or carbon monoxide detectors that run on batteries, seem to run out of the battery power, only around 2-4 AM, and start "chirping"?! :banghead:

Batteries only need replacing about once a year. I find it baffling that whenever it's time to change the batteries, it's never in the middle of the day -- only happens in the middle of the night when people are sleeping!!! :arghh:
