Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

UGH....I'm not so happy with the opening date of Star Wars land at WDW. It's cutting it really close with our trip, which means the parks are going to be super busy with locals hoping for soft openings! I planned our trip for this year so we'd have low crowd levels because everyone would be at Disneyland where it was already open. And they said late fall....August 29th is late SUMMER.

Sorry. I think I’ve decided that I don’t hate it.

I do, but on DVD. I like to watch things on my laptop rather than a TV now. Plus, who actually puts in DVDs anymore?
I just had my old TV head over the rainbow bridge and I replaced it with a 50 inch that I placed in a relatively small room. It's almost like being at the movies without the huge expense each time. I'm watching all my DVD's again. Yesterday, I watched my favorite "True Lies", it felt like I could almost reach right out and touch them.

Just popping in for a quick minute. It's DH's birthday today so I talked him into getting a smart phone. He really didn't want one because he likes his flip phone, and with all the handyman stuff he does, he needs something that will fit in his pocket. He has a Trac Phone that he never activated though, so he's going to activate that to use when he needs it, but the smart phone will be his regular phone now. I also found out that I could upgrade my phone plan to unlimited talk, text, and data for an extra $2 a month, so we won't have to worry about using up all our data when we travel.

We also took my good camera in for repairs today, and it turns out that it's just the adapter ring for the lens hood that has to be replaced, so we ordered the part and it will be fixed on Tuesday. Life is good!

I do. (Is that awful? 😕 )
Not if you're living in colonial times.

Just kidding. I prefer watching them on my laptop because it's less work for me than putting a DVD in. Plus that way I can watch movies in bed, put in my headphones, and not have to worry about it being too loud for others.

Whew--thank goodness you threw in the spoiler! ;) And are you ready for this one?

Last Saturday I went to Target and bought a new DVD player!! :hilarious: It was $34.99 (before tax). Not bad at all--I was excited with my new purchase! I watched Bohemian Rhapsody (very good movie), and this weekend I'll either watch Christopher Robin, or A Star is Born.

I watched Bohemian Rhapsody last weekend. I still want to see A Star is Born. I think this weekend I might watch Saving Mr. Banks again. I haven't seen that one in a long time.

Ski and I changed his dressing for the first time tonight. It’s gorgeous!

The gauze was stuck to the wound, so we soaked it off. Not even a tinge of pink to the water after 20 minutes of soaking.

There is actually a teeny bit of (nail-less) nail bed left, and even more finger than we’d been led to believe.

What remains is healthy and pink. Thank you, Lord, I think it’s all going to turn out just fine.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and good wishes. 😘

Thank you for the wonderful update regarding his surgery. Happy to hear that Ski is doing so well. :) (I'm sure the entire family is breathing sighs of relief.)
