Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

Ski and I changed his dressing for the first time tonight. It’s gorgeous!

The gauze was stuck to the wound, so we soaked it off. Not even a tinge of pink to the water after 20 minutes of soaking.

There is actually a teeny bit of (nail-less) nail bed left, and even more finger than we’d been led to believe.

What remains is healthy and pink. Thank you, Lord, I think it’s all going to turn out just fine.

Thank you everyone for your kind thoughts and good wishes. 😘
Oh good! Is he relieved? Is it better than what he was thinking? I know he didn't want to have to go that route, but is he happy with the results?

It’s only been a few days and hurts like the dickens, but he says it feels way better already. The look of relief on his face when he finally soaked the gauze off and saw it made me a bit teary eyed.

He’d said he didn’t care what it was going to look like, but let’s be honest, nobody really wants to lose 3-5cm of their index finger.

raises hand I just bought the DVD of Bohemian Rhapsody yesterday. What is Saving Mr. Banks...I don't think that's one I've heard of. Is it Mr. Banks, as in....Mary Poppins' Mr. Banks?
Yes, it is a movie about how Walt went about getting the rights and the trials and tribulations of getting it made. Very interesting and enlightening about P.L. Travers and her part in the making of the movie. I thought it was really good.
It didn't shine a very positive light on P.L. but, it did explain the real plot of the original movie and was hinted to in Mary Poppins Returns. Really worth seeing, I think. It starred Tom Hanks as Walt Disney.

That's great to hear. The only down side is that he will only be able to point to things that are closer to him. That should bring up his spirits. 😉:p

I do. (Is that awful? 😕 )

It's OK...we still watch DVDs too. OK, not all of the time, but the kids still enjoy my vehicle's DVD player so DVDs are a must on road trips and long breaks at softball tournaments, we bring them on vacay and play them on our laptops in case we're in an area without WiFi, and I refuse to buy digital versions of things I already own on DVD. So, if we want to watch any of those DVD movies and we're home, we use one of the Xboxes to watch.
