way back when I was in school
1969(kindergarten) till I graduated in 82
we had off good Friday and the whole week after Easter

I went to a parochial grammar school, and our schedule was different from the public schools. We'd have off Good Friday and Easter Sunday (although it was Sunday anyway, so technically not an extra day off). That was it.

We didn't get a spring week off, but we always got a week off in February.

I watched Christopher Robin this afternoon. It was a sweet movie, and I liked the atmospheric background scenes with the London fog, etc. I was unfamiliar with the actual story (although I certainly recognized Winnie the Pooh and his buddies); so, I can't compare the movie version to the book.

Overall rating: I give it a 75%. Enjoyed it for a change of pace--not my usual movie selection.

That’s funny - I’m at the point in my Big Bang Theory recorded episodes in my DVR when Christopher Robin was in theaters and I was thinking that I wanted to watch it sometime.

I enjoyed it a lot more than that.

Couldn’t help thinking “this would be even better with Colin Firth as CR” the whole time I was watching though.

Colin Firth makes most things better.
