Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

This is why public transportation is your friend! I don't think I'd want to be driving in The Hague, even when I have slept!
Not being able to read the signs was the worst. We did take the train in from The Hague to see Amsterdam. It was partly a work trip which is why we were at The Hague. My wife visited Delft while I was at the conference, and we spent a night in Utrecht just before going back home. Stayed with a friend near Frankfurt for a few nights in between. Wonderful trip. Cologne Cathedral was the highlight.

Wow, that's quite a drive to go all the way into Germany and go to Frankfurt! How long were you there? Delft is a nice little city. I went there a few years ago with some friends and we did a boat tour and we went to the Vermeer museum.

We left the rental car in Cologne and took the scenic train trip down the Rhine to Frankfurt, and got the car again on the return trip. I think we stayed 4 nights with our friends near Frankfurt (former HS exchange student who had stayed with my wife’s family).

I like @NYwdwfan 's George Carlin quote : "Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience".
Hmm, in the recent posts above a photo was shown of the interior of Five Guys Restaurant and the question was posed: "Where am I?"
Another poster responded logically: "Five Guys?"
....yet the answer was: "No"
LOL ....I think the George Carlin quote might apply nicely here 😄😁;)

Ah, not as daunting then. Last Summer, we did a tour through Germany...kind of impromptu for the most part. We did a couple of days in Frankfurt....I don't think the driving would have been as bad if it weren't for the construction. It took us twice as long to get anywhere as our GPS said it should. We made it to Frankfurt with 5 minutes to spare to check into our airbnb apartment when we thought we'd have a couple of hours. Driving in Germany is not fun!
