Last night after work we had a staff get together at a pizza place/bar. Most of us ended up staying until 10 at least. The people I rode with and I stayed until 10, so I'm not exactly sure how long others stayed. But the get together was 30 minutes in the opposite direction from where I work, and I already live 30 minutes from where I work. And with some light snow it took me well over an hour to get home, but it was worth it! We needed that as our school environment is hitting rock bottom. But we have some awesome people working at our school!

We have a windchill advisory again from 10pm tonight to 10am tomorrow morning. It could be -30 again. It's March!! Also, is it sad that -30 really doesn't seem that cold after this winter?
Over time you will realize that the worst of Winter is usually in March. I don't know as I paid much attention to it back when I was young, but, as I grew older and March would show up I excitedly anticipated Spring only to have Mother Nature slap me in the face while saying... "I ain't through with you yet". That very old expression "Comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb", ain't for nothin'.

Well, if it starts earlier, then maybe the warmer temps that will follow the cold, may also start earlier than expected.
Enough is enough I say. This needs to end. It has lasted far too long and impacted too many places. Just when there's a glimmer of hope that we'll FINALLY get a break from it... here it comes back to torment us all over again.

But enough about Frozen references. Now back to weather.

Not over here. We get the worst of it here in January or beginning of February, then it turns to Spring. Today, it's been pouring buckets.
