Regarding the Ski’s finger ....
More wait and see.
The doctor is very glad she didn’t cut it off 2 1/2 weeks ago.
So here’s where we are. Chunks of it are going to fall off, all on their own. Whether there is new growth underneath remains to be seen.
If she lops it off, there is no chance of regrowth.
And we go back in 3 weeks.

Sounds like decent news, good thing they didn't cut it off. Hopefully more good news in 3 weeks.

It’s been a crappy day. Hospital with Ski ... dropping off the urn ... picking up the death certificate ... reading the obit online. It’s all becoming so official.

All done. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
Why such a late appointment? We have one Siemens MRI machine, and it is scheduled straight through from 7:00 am to midnight every day.
It was so loud that I couldn’t really concentrate on anything. I had planned on touring MK counter clockwise and naming all the attractions and restaurants, but that was way too taxing. I’d already decided against praying ‘cause I’ve done a lot of that this week, and mostly it ends with me crying. So, I recited the alphabet. Over and over and over again.
Turns out, I DO know my ABC’s. Next time won’t you sing with me?
