Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

We’re swimming in leftovers, but not enough of any one thing for everybody.

Seeing as how we’re “iced” in, it’s clear out the leftovers day. We have fried spaghetti and garlic bread, meatloaf and mashed potatoes, 4 slices of pizza, and a little bit of roasted chicken.

With milk, of course.

Dig in.
Fried Spaghetti!!! Seems like an affront to nature to me. What exactly does fried spaghetti consist of and more importantly why? 🍝

I'm sure they have a maple tree in their yard. They could tap that and survive on sap for a while. Of course if they slip on the ice on the walk out, they could be done for.
One problem with that... it has to thaw before sap runs and if it thaws, you don't need it. You can just drive to the store. Just shows how useless Maple trees are. A couple weeks of color in the fall and of no use after that. With the cost of Maple Syrup you would think that they never got the memo that it basically grows on trees.🥞

Fried spaghetti is a beautiful thing - a staple from the pre-microwave days of my childhood.

It’s basically leftover spaghetti reheated in a frying pan instead of the microwave. It’s almost as good as fried leftover mac ‘n cheese.

We are closed today too, I got the call about 7pm last night. Right now it is only lightly snowing but when I was watching the news from Minneapolis the weather guy outside looked like he was standing in a blizzard. So it is on its way. Ugh!
I heard father north is supposed to be very snowy today. And down by me is supposed to be very icy.

Now that you mention it, it seems like I remember a scene in the Godfather where they have gone to the mattresses and Micheal is being taught how to make spaghetti and he is told to fry it up. I remember thinking... who fries spaghetti. Oh, well! How do you keep the noodles from burning up hard as a rock with that much liquid free heat? Learn me sometin'!

Just looked out the window... it is very sunny. Sorry, I'll just walk away now. It's supposed to be cooler tomorrow if it will be helpful. :p

I've actually wanted some snow to be able to go snowshoeing but I didn't want this many days of school closure because I don't want to make it up in June either. Enjoy your sunshine! :)
