Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

All done. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.

Why such a late appointment? We have one Siemens MRI machine, and it is scheduled straight through from 7:00 am to midnight every day.

It was so loud that I couldn’t really concentrate on anything. I had planned on touring MK counter clockwise and naming all the attractions and restaurants, but that was way too taxing. I’d already decided against praying ‘cause I’ve done a lot of that this week, and mostly it ends with me crying. So, I recited the alphabet. Over and over and over again.

Turns out, I DO know my ABC’s. Next time won’t you sing with me?
You did take a moment, I trust, and give thanks to those responsible for this blessed occasion, didn't you?

No... not them. You know who I'm talking about. The real deal...

Now that's more like it. Thank the Phoenicians. Always allow time to thank the Phoenicians when you recite your ABC's.
They invented it.
Glad it went well.

I guess you can’t go to bed at 9:45 and expect to be the first to make a joke about the Phoenicians. 😂

I got to listen to Aerosmith through the head set. But, those things are loud aren't they. Actually I had never had an MRI before so I didn't know what they did in the process. They asked me if I would like to hear anything and the first thing that popped into my head was Aerosmith. I thought it was a joke. Then all of a sudden, Walk this way was streaming into my ears. If I had known that was going to happen I would have requested the Beatles.

Well, they were the first ones to write it down, but, the problem was no one else had ever heard of it, so the Phoenicians basically had to write to themselves for a couple of generations. :p

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I was told I would get results in a week or so. The hospital actually called before 8:00 am.

I have a torn meniscus and a fracture. My knee needs to be immobilized and no more weight bearing.

I need to see a surgeon immediately. “Immediately” being a relative term up here.

I’m going back to bed.

Yeah, they’re not kidding.
I have an appointment at the fracture clinic at 11:30 today.

I guess I’m not going back to bed.

It should be pointed out though that I fell 8 weeks ago; I’ve been walking on it for almost 6; and my MRI wasn’t even scheduled for another 5 weeks.

Absolutely nothing. They won’t have the cremains back until Monday anyway.

I gave her my credit card # over the phone so she can pay for the obit, and other than that, I am totally staying put today.

The church and luncheon have been arranged. We’ve decided to hold off on interment of the ashes until his birthday in May.

We need to start clearing out his apartment, but today is not the day.

I’m emotionally spent, and we still have to deal with Ski’s finger tomorrow.
Well, I'm glad there are no negative consequences for it at least. I'm sure I'll read how the finger appointment went.

Safe travels.

Mike was just out laying down some salt, did a Freddy Flintstone and fall down go boom.

He says he’s fine. 👍
Well...good thing he put down the salt. Sounds like it was needed! I had to stop on my way home with DS yesterday to help a teenage girl who fell off her bike. I hope she's ok. There were a couple other moms who stopped to help and we got her picked up off the pavement and got her bike parked safely while she waited for her mom to come pick her up, but she couldn't walk and her glasses were broken and her chin all scaped up and she said it was really bad to fall because she already needs back surgery. So hopefully the fall didn't make it worse, poor girl.
How's Mike today? Is he stiff and sore?

Is this from falling off the ladder right before your NYC trip?

Is it safe? Can you even get to the appointment? That doesn't sound good at all!

When I was first on e-mail on an IBM mainframe account there was almost nobody to e-mail with yet.
I realize that’s not exactly the same thing
To me it is the same thing. Until someone else had e-mail your audience was pretty limited. If Judy was correct, that the did invent it, at the time it had a pretty limited audience, specifically only those that created it knew what it was. It took centuries before it was understandable by a large number of people.

My brother drove me - Mike is at work.

Does the Cananadian alphabet have more vowels than the Merican alphabet? 🤔

Wow, I'm amazed you have been able to function so much with it that way. What a lucky break (sorry, no pun intended) that you were able to get that MRI done early so treatments can start and you can heal correctly. 🙂 With all that you and your family have been through lately I hope you luck turns around soon.
