I just noticed the sign on it
I couldn't read the sign--I tried to click on her picture but it wouldn't get any larger. What did the sign say?
@Nemo14 , sorry you missed your raft adventure. Doesn't it figure that the day you wanted to do that, it was rainy, etc. Still, your consolation prize of the gardens at the university made up for it--what a gorgeous place. I wouldn't expect an university to have such beautiful gardens on campus.

DH and I are RIC grads - we were discussing the differences between the 2 campuses (or is it campi?). We concluded that the giant pot of plastic green plants in front of my dorm didn't quite measure up, nor did the adjacent golf course that my suitemates and I would sneak through.
The sign says Please don't climb on the X-Wing Fighter.

Our original plan was to drive to West Yellowstone today, find a laundromat and do our clothes, pick up some groceries, then settle in at the cabin. However, we did a load of laundry the other night, so we didn't need to do that, and check-in at the cabin wasn't til 5, so we drove over to the park instead, planning to just go to Old Faithful and maybe check out the area around there. Well, we did a bit more than that, and saw a little wildlife too.

Love the cabin...especially that porch and view! Glad you were able to work in a bit more time in Yellowstone today. You just never know what you're going to see!

So a slight change of plans today. Last night the satellite TV quit working for no apparent reason, and we did everything it suggested on the screen, but I finallly had to call the company we rented from. They're supposed to be sending someone over this morning, and they said we didn't have to be here, but Dh doesn't want to have them in here without us, and I agree. So no early start for us like we planned, but we'll get to the park eventually. It's only about a 10 minute drive from here, so it's no biggie really - we have all week!
