It's definitely starting to feel like fall here. It's in the 50s! But the middle of the week is supposed to get back up into the 80s.

I overslept. I usually wake up at 6:30-7 on my own and set a “just in case” alarm for 7:30. I decided last night to skip the alarm and roll the dice. 9:30! Now I can’t get moving either. I do better when I’m up early.

It's good to get some extra sleep. Doesn't matter that you're behind schedule or whatever today--you deserve a break.

Yeah I figured my body was trying to tell me something.
Funny thing, my body is trying to tell me something as well. It is telling me that I am now officially older then dirt and that every single cell in my body, is going to, at some point or the other, malfunction and/or be painful. Good times! :grumpy:

Hi there, Little Mary Sunshine! :hilarious:

Hey, at least you have your sanity, which is more than I can say for myself! :joyfull:

Sure, but, sanity is such I fleeting thing. I lapse in and out of it multiple times a day. My real test is as long as I continue to realize the evil of snow, I still have a grasp on clear thinking. ;):joyfull:

Have I mentioned how delightful the weather has been? Well today, this morning actually, was quite an exception. Cold, rainy, and windy, so knowing that it would only be worse on the river, we reluctantly cancelled the float trip. We hung around Jackson Hole for a little while, but it was crazy busy with a 5k and 10k (?) marathon going on, a bike race, and some kind of festival downtown which closed off many streets. So we just decided to head out to Idaho early, even though it was a pretty short drive. We got here around noon, but we couldn't check into the hotel, so we went exploring. We came across the campus of BYU Idaho, which we read had some nice gardens. It was very pretty, not nearly as huge as the University of Utah's gardens, but it was a nice little getaway anyway. Here's a few pics:

There were a few small waterfalls, and one bigger one with water lilies at the base:

Those are beautiful flowers.

Then we explored a few back roads and came across this at a junkyard:

I'd love to know the backstory of this!

Yeah, I’m going to need you to get that thing on a trailer - I’ve got the PERFECT spot in my yard for it.
