Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

My poor dog needs a sedative. We are experiencing a huge thunderstorm and he’s losing it. He’s laying on my bed and I have my legs over him like he’s an ottoman (although my knees are bent so I’m not putting weight on him - just making him feel secure). Poor guy. The little dog keeps bringing his ball on the bed and then slowly pushing it with his nose to the edge of the bed and making it crash to the ground scaring the big guy. Little guy is a bit of a jerk.

Oh, poor pup. Most dogs hate storms, mine included. But the storm will eventually pass, and he'll forget all about it.

He never used to be like this! He decided about a year ago he’s scared. Not really sure why the first 4 years of his life he didn’t care!

Dogs go through various personality stages, especially as they get older. Kinda like people.

Much more traffic here than anywhere else we've encountered, and we're not too thrilled with the place where we're staying - coincidentally it's the most expensive place we've stayed in too. They use antlers in all of their dec-or-rating...

We drove through an elk preserve here, didn't see any elk, but these guys decided a parade across the road was in order..

Anyway, we're here for 2 nights, then Saturday morning we're doing a float trip on the Yellowstone River. Can't wait!

My favorite though was the bald eagle I spotted near the Snake River. He didn't stay in the tree too long but watching him was awesome!

I also saw 2 moose today, and a large water snake. I tried to get a picture of the moose mom and baby but unfortunately I didn't hold the camera up high enough, but they were there behind those people:

Not sure what it is about this one, but it almost looks 3D on my screen. Great job catching the contrast of eagle flying in the foreground, and the mountains off in the distance.

I overslept. I usually wake up at 6:30-7 on my own and set a “just in case” alarm for 7:30. I decided last night to skip the alarm and roll the dice. 9:30! Now I can’t get moving either. I do better when I’m up early.
