It goes by minutes now instead of days... at least in Wisconsin. It used to be 180 days, now it is X amount of minutes. The minutes has its perks and downfalls.

Our schools went to that this year. It's so much more convenient for us personally so when my daughter has a dental appt for her new braces it counts as only an hour or two instead of a half day absence.

The freezing rain has started. I'm glad there's no school. The student council is planning something for grandparents but I hope It's when the weather is better.

Yes we got to our daughter’s last night after a long delay on I-95 due to an overturned truck. We spent the day spoiling our granddaughter, then tomorrow we’ll do a short 2 hour drive to VA to spoil our grandson and visit our friends in Roanoke. Wednesday we’ll drive to central FL, then on to my sister’s on Thursday.
