Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

They're just so dry. I find them inedible.

Wasn't raised on southern cooking, so I'm not familiar with biscuits (I've had maybe 2 biscuits in my whole life, and they were from restaurants).

But, I've heard about biscuits and gravy--do people down South often use gravy with biscuits, so that they're not so dry? Maybe that might be similar (in a way) to Yorkshire pudding--where the British serve that (bread) with beef and gravy.

Come to think of it, everything is better with gravy! :hungry:

Possibly, partially! But, biscuits are not usually lone food. The require something to go with them. Biscuits and air is not all that popular. They are used as buns for chicken and other meats as a sandwich, but, mostly immersed in a gravy either with chicken and gravy or just gravy. Alone, they require a lot of butter, honey, or some other moisturizer otherwise swallowing would be a problem. But, then again, that is coming from a confirmed biscuit dis-liker. (hater is an ugly word)

Good biscuits aren't that dry and can be eaten with just butter, but yes you would generally eat them with gravy, honey, or jelly. If they're not to too dry I like them with just butter. If I'm eating them for breakfast I like them with lots of honey. My family eats them with gravy all the time. I'm weird though and don't like gravy.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I didn't, but of course I don't watch the show. There aren't many newer shows that do watch. I'm currently watching Johnny Carson.

One current show I love is Stranger Things. They just announced today that season two will be released on my birthday. Happy Birthday to me!
And now I've figured out your b'day. ;)
I love Google.

Now to go back and read the full article to figure out what Stranger Things is all about.

That moment when you're planning your January Disney trip, and are finding so many things you want to explore during the road trip part, that you realize you've yet to start planning the Disney part.

I must be getting old.
I would recommend stopping at that one tree alongside the road in Georgia. It's really magnificent and makes for a great emergency rest stop.

So the last three books have all been Poirots. Time for a little Jane Marple, methinks.

Sadly, no maps, house floor plans or room schematics to kick off the party. :(

This one, however, has numerous shorter, titled chapters. I do like titled chapters.

I like short chapters in books. I always feel like I have to finish a chapter before putting a book down, and if they are longer chapters I'm less likely to read it because I don't feel like I can opt out when I want to.

It's an easier book, probably early middle school level, but have you read The Westing Game? It's a mystery with short (I believe titled) chapters. It's very interesting and entertaining to read. I read it in 6th grade and loved it. I tried reading it as a read aloud to my 4th graders, but had to stop because the kids weren't understanding it. It's challenging to only hear the words instead of see them in that book.

I shall investigate further; perhaps check it out.

Those are terrible puns. Let's blame the sedative from earlier today, shall we?
