Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

This is so funny and so true. My mother used to give us metal cooking pans with metal lids when we were toddlers, because she said that every little kid loved banging them together, and hearing all the fun noise!
That's one thing I'm appreciating more and more as a grandmother. Raising kids was far simpler back when my kids were little. I still get nightmares about my first visit to Babies R Us as a grandmother-to-be.

So, more than 4 hours of shopping and chopping, simmering and stirring, slicing French bread and washing dishes, preparing pasta and washing more dishes, packing up leftovers and scrubbing my stove and washing even more dishes ... I had Raisin Bran.
Raisins are gross.

You are a good woman to do all that work and then not partake in the deliciousness. I would not be able to turn down spaghetti sauce.

I'm actually not a fan of my bed right now. It is too soft for me now, it is almost 9 years old. I would like a new one, hubby says it is fine and we don't need a new one. I am plotting to get a sleep number bed. He likes it soft, I like my mattress super firm.
I'm hoping to replace our mattress sometime soon too and just save the one we have as a guest bed. We'll see ....

Wait 'til he goes to basketball practice. That's when I bought our new bedroom suite; mattress as well.

Further proof that no good comes from exercise.

Our current bed is a king and no space in our guest room for a king. So we will have to get rid of it. Maybe I will try to sell it or give it away. I don't know who wants someone used mattress but someone probably will.

If I wait until he goes to basketball practice I will be waiting a long time!;) However, Hubs does have a week long church trip to South Dakota coming up at the end of July. That might be a good time....hmmmm. Now you have me thinking. Can I just blame it on you if I get into trouble?

Used mattresses won't even be accepted by the Goodwill truck in MA (may vary from state to state--health code ordinances). So unless you knew someone that wanted it, best to just put it out with the trash.

I think it would be fun to get a sleep number bed. They are really expensive though. So for now, I think we'll just stick with our old lumpy one! ;) (If I'm tired, I can sleep on anything.)
