Our current bed is a king and no space in our guest room for a king. So we will have to get rid of it. Maybe I will try to sell it or give it away. I don't know who wants someone used mattress but someone probably will.
I got a new mattress a few months ago. The guys that delivered it took my old one away, free of charge. The old one was pretty worn and the spring were broken, so using it as a guest bed wasn't a great option.

I'm actually not a fan of my bed right now. It is too soft for me now, it is almost 9 years old. I would like a new one, hubby says it is fine and we don't need a new one. I am plotting to get a sleep number bed. He likes it soft, I like my mattress super firm.
You might want to try a sleep number bed before you invest that kind of $$$. My sister has one in her guest room and we absolutely hate it. Since it's basically a rubber mattress you really sweat like crazy.

Mike didn't like them either.

Good idea. We stayed a a Radisson (I think) a few years ago and had a sleep number in our room. It was comfortable from what I remember, but maybe I was just tired from the day. We were chaperoning a youth trip to San Antonio so by the time it was bedtime I was pretty tired.

It's nice to be able to adjust how firm you want the mattress, but to me it was just not worth it.

Saw the new Spider-Man movie today after work, then went home to watch the Home Run Derby.

To avoid any confusion, one is about a young lad with superhuman powers who quickly becomes a hero for New York.
The other is a Spider-Man movie.
I wish he had bat first so we could have seen his max potential.
