Egg McMuffins were my original addiction, but I switched when Sausage Burrito's became $1.00. (Big Mistake). Short story, on our very first trip to WDW back in 1983 we left home early and drove about a hundred miles then stopped and had breakfast at McD. I had Egg McMuffins. On the return trip we left our hotel in Kissimmee and stopped at McD's to begin that trip. Since then I have never headed out for WDW or left without stopping at McD's even to this day. Any road trip, starts with McDonalds breakfast.

We do Chick-Fil-A breakfast on our last morning in FL.

McRibs are quite tasty.
I love McRibs but they are too messy to eat. I like my food neat. :) When I do get one I ask them to go light on the sauce. Surprise they even have a button on the register for that. Must be I'm not the only one. However, I forget who now, but one of those frozen dinner companies sell Pork rib meals for only $1.00. Sauce and everything. Buy yourself some of the small sub rolls, nuke a couple of those meals, throw in a couple of pieces of onion and you have a McRib.

We don't have a Chick-fil-A around here, nor a Chipotle, and I've never even heard of Baja Fresh. We have McDonald's, Dairy Queen, Taco Bell, KFC, Culver's, and Taco John's in my town for fast food. Dunkin Donuts is opening in a few days, I believe.

EDIT- Actually, our Culver's is currently burnt down, so scratch that.

Don't even speak the word Chipotle. My mouth is watering so bad right now... :hungry:

In general, I like Mexican food. Whether it's authentic or Americanized fast food, that stuff is amazing.
I'm going to have to make a Chipotle run in a snow storm tonight for a carnitas burrito and some lime chips.

We haven't driven to WDW since 2006, but when we used to - Waffle House was our absolute must-do for brekkie, and Shoney's often for dinner.

No
There are only a few Moe's around here and none in the MD suburbs of DC. The big ones are Chipotle, California Tortilla, Baja Fresh and Qdoba. Last I heard the highest-volume Chipotle in the country was the one in College Park MD.
That's 'cause college students around here love Chipotle. High schoolers too

Waffle house not so much. But Shoney's was usually on the agenda sometime along the trip. Leaving from Vermont we would travel to Fredricksberg, Virginia on the first day. Then the next day was shorter and we went to near the So. Carolina/Georgia boarder and then a leisurely third day to WDW. So there were a lot of meal stops along the way. Most of the time it was fast food, but we tried to make sure we went someplace to get a little balance for ourselves and the kids at least once a day.

My McD's ritual is still in use for me now that I go from NC to WDW. Even though it's only a 10 hour ride door to door.
