Yes, I know we're only in the first week of November & I'm already sporting my Santa hat.

But if my local supermarket can put out Christmas decorations in mid-October, then gosh darn it, I can wear holiday apparel in early November. So what'cha gonna do 'bout it?? Don't judge me!

p.s. Happy holidays.

I went to the mall today - I hate the mall but had to return something to The Children's Place and decided to take the opportunity to visit The Disney Store sans children and examine the sale corner. That and I thought my extra 5 pounds could use a little extra walking. Anyway, in my travels I actually saw a store called "New York Christmas" filled with lit, decorated trees and walls COVERED with ornaments. I did NOT go in. Turkey before tree, says I.

So I recently got a Keurig coffee maker. We have one at my office but I resisted getting one at home since I think the pods are a ripoff. Anyway, we have the "make your own pod" so it's not that bad. And tonight, while nursing the sniffles, I discovered it makes a mighty quick cup of tea. I'm quite pleased right now.

Its useful for when you only are making coffee for one person or you have a house full of people with difference preferences. I can have my Kona coffee and my girlfriend can have her Blonde roast when she is here. More people than that I dig out the regular coffee maker.

I find that as well - we often have my parents over for dinner and while they will drink regular, they prefer decaf. It works out quite nicely.

Is it weird that nobody in my family drinks coffee or tea? And by family I mean immediate family.
Probably better off. I'm addicted to coffee and just feel off all day without a cup in the morning.

I think I come from a family who just get addicted to stuff really easily. Like coffee isn't that bad, but I probably should watch out for the other possible addictions.

We have a Keurig in a box in the basement. We tried it, but we both just drink regular coffee, so those pod things are pretty expensive when you figure it out. We do have the one that you put your own coffee into, but for us it's just as economical to make a full pot.
