I'm working from home to accommodate repair men who are fixing my heater. I've decided its too hard to work with all the noise coming from my crawl space so instead here I am going insane.

So yesterday DH spent most of the day raking leaves and doing yardwork, basically because I bought some bulbs I wanted to plant. Apparently Planting them before raking is not allowed.... Anyway I questioned him at the time because our maple leaves are just turning yellow now, in fact, the tree in the backyard is still pretty green. But he insisted, and after the apple fiasco yesterday, I didn't argue with him. So I went out to get my haircut this morning, and when I came home, here's what the front lawn looked like...

I'm a little afraid that the plumber's assistant is going to blow up the house. Or the plumber is going to murder him and leave him in my crawlspace they way they are yelling down there.

I'm sitting in the library getting work done when this girl comes in, sits down, pulls out a bag of Cheetos, crumples the bag for a couple minutes, proceeds to open the bag, then consumes the Cheetos so that civilians in Rwanda can hear. After that she crumpled the bag into a ball, put it away, and then it is silent. For like two seconds. She pulls out a gatorade bottle and squeezes the bottle so that it makes a loud noise.

One of my biggest pet peeves: loud eaters. And in a library??

When I left there were very few leaves on the ground. I have this image in my head that they all just dropped at one time with a big thud.

Its two guys and gay marriage was only legalized a few weeks ago in this state. If they were married, you would think they would still be in that newlywed bliss stage.
