I have divided the next two and a half months into manageable chunks:

- The next two weeks, I will be psyching, prepping, and packing for Disney.
- The following two weeks will be spent vacationing, unpacking and doing laundry.
- The following two weeks are kind of in limbo, until we get until the end of November.
- The following four weeks are holiday time. Stringing lights, putting up the tree, decorating, wrapping gifts, baking .... I love everything about Christmas.
- The following week is decompression time; doing final preparations for Son #2's departure.

And then ... they're gone! Please join me in a chorus of Hallelujah!

And then, I will be down in that basement, ripping up all that stained and bong-water soaked carpet, hauling it to the curb, and dancing naked on that bare concrete floor.

Okay, not dancing - 'cause y'all know I can't dance.

I've had a really crappy couple of days. Can ya tell?
I was wondering, is baking considered cooking???

A question for @StarWarsGirl95:

I've purchased Memory Maker for this trip.
Last time I ordered Photo Pass Plus, I received a disc in the mail, along with a piece of paper containing a code which I had to take to a photo centre to get a lanyard/card.

Is it now just automatically loaded on to our MagicBands?
It should be automatically linked to your bands. On your account, it should say that you have a memory maker assigned to you. When you get your photo taken by a photopass photographer, they will scan your band and it will go over to your account. For the rides, it should go right onto your band. After the first day, either check your account (I think you need a laptop for this, though a tablet) or go to a photopass location in the parks (should be near the front of the park) to make sure they were added. If they weren't seek help. You can also have them manually add them and then if they appear twice, your band is working. This would ensure you get your photos.

I have a feeling my DH is sleeping on the remote. :cautious:
When my uncle came with us to Aulani, he slept on the couch in our 2 bedroom unit. One night, my mom couldn't find the remote. He had fallen asleep on the couch. Or so we thought. Turned out he had fallen asleep with the remote in his hands, but then woke up when he heard my mom couldn't find it and pretended to sleep, listening to her search for it, and trying not to laugh.

I wondered how long it would take someone to pick up on that.
Guess y'all were distracted by the naked dancing.

And no, baking is not cooking.
Thanks - I was getting concerned - and then I saw the post about the pork chops! I thought you wigged out and really went all wild and started cooking!!!! I thought we'd all have to rush the border to stage an intervention!!! :hilarious:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

Shake 'n Bake also occurs in the oven, so technically not cooking.
And Knorr Sidekicks (pasta or rice; haven't decided which) scarcely counts as cooking, despite taking place on the cooktop.

Intervention averted.
