Does anyone remember Ocean Spray's Mauna Lai juice? What ever happened to it?
My husband loved it. Mott's bought the recipe, but I haven't seen any lately.

That's what I was thinking. When I interned in an HR department, I did a lot of recruiting calls. We did not leave messages even though the call was basically an interview offer because we had very long lists to go through, and leaving messages would waste our time. There were only specific circumstances when we would leave a message would be if we had previously reached the person and they asked to call back and we didn't reach them the second time. Other than that, each list gets called once, no leaving messages.I agree with you in principle. However, I do know that some headhunters have a list of candidates that they call and whoever answers, may score an interview with a good company. Because there are so many applicants out there, staffing companies don't have to leave a message; they just have plenty of people to choose from.
Sometimes, too, a company may need to fill a position quickly, and may call a staffing company to see if they can provide maybe 5-6 top people, who could come in on short notice for an interview.
Oui.I don't think @JenniferS knows how. I think she only knows aboot speaking Canadian
I'm waiting to finish season 2 of Arrow before I try out its spinoff. So hopefully I'll finish my Netflix binge before episode 2.I'm watching The Flash
I was thinking about BBT when he mentioned the Flash

My daughter's godmother is Polish/Romanian.
I don't buy fancy phones anyway, but a news story this morning caught my attention. Apparently, a number of people have complained that the iphone 6 is pulling out their hair and their beards?!The news story was named Hairgate.
This is another reason why I'll stick to my little phone that just makes phone calls only—never pulled out my hair!

Sounds like a good day for a few Sageteers.
Actually, I'm having a brutal allergy day. Sitting here with a Kleenex bullet in each nostril.
Pretty sure there will be no second "coffee" today.
Those look like the dumpling my Gran taught me to make that I put in Chicken Soup.Stuffed cabbage and halushkas are a different - the way we make them. Stuffed cabbage is basically ground beef and rice rolled in a cabbage leaf and baked in tomato sauce. Halushkas are shredded cabbage and onions sautéed until they are soft with these little dumplings mixed in. Granted both recipes are passed down from my grandma so what SHE called them and what general society called them could be two entirely different things.
I found many versions of halushkas (also haluski) online - some with bacon (YUM) - but this is what my grandma's looked like:
