I really need to move. Gotta get my life together and figure out what I'm doing here. I can't take the winter much longer. :/

I have not had much luck at Kohls the last few years, my DD does sometimes. I'm older so I have to watch that I have appropriate areas covered so I don't look like a fool trying to relive ones youth. But a gal still has to look good. Kohl's tends to go from youthful to matronly with nothing in between lately. Macy's and Carson's here both have great selection for that Mom demographic.

After almost a week of visiting with my out-of-town cousin, I have come to accept that I will never fully catch up.

Starting to appreciate the friendly banter with my BFF (Best Frenemy Forever) @Goofyernmost more than ever. At least he and I never get personal. Heck, he even said he "loves me like a sister".

Please everyone, can we return to the civility that used to distinguish us from most of the other threads?

Opposite for me! I almost always get lucky at kohls but haven't scored a decent find at Macy's in many years. I love the way dress slacks and even kohls yoga pants fit me...their undergarments are fantastic too.

I bought a form fitting (without looking like a pig trapped under a blanket) pencil skirt with a slight ruffle at the bottom and a nice thick black belt on sale...used a coupon, then rewards points, plus an extra 10% off for using kohls charge! I paid $3 for it. Fab.

My mom shops at kohls too, you certainly can!! You just gotta do the bend over test to make sure...uh, stuff doesn't fall out.

It is right there...just look at the new and old, now locked Wow thread and you'll have it all cleared up. I've never posted on WoW and I could see what happened to the members 'like' tally. If you can't figure it out PM me.

I am worried about Peter too. I saw your post on his Africa thread and I agreed with you sentiments, there is something up with him and he has alluded to it himself. I'm like you, I can't kick him. I actually wrote a post to respond to yours but I never hit post reply. I read all the remarks and it made me sad and a bit unnerved. I see stuff like this through our school board when students gang up on the weakest link and troll their every move. We see so many school, work place, military shootings/massacres, the violence when the troubled one finally cracks then take out masses of people. We wonder how it can happen when it does but we can see right on that thread how someone could finally snap and go postal. Now deleting that thread would be merciful.

I'm actually scratching my head about Peter.
When I joined he seemed well behaved and well leveled. But then suddenly seen like he collapsed and started to act like had some serious muti problematic facets on his persona.
Sometimes being way too pushy.
other times tries to get attention at all costs
other times just way too depressed.
other times full of valor and jumps to do things that are complex. (his last jump to Africa explains this)

Still, he could just say he was going to africa and just leave the board. Who knows.

In honour of Lesley's last dinner with us, I will be doing a full turkey dinner tomorrow.
Canadian Thanksgiving is actually next weekend.

Anyone think I can get away with counting tomorrow's meal as our Thanksgiving dinner? Keep in mind, Thanksgiving is a pretty low-key affair up here compared to your celebrations.

So much work to do still. I know that feeling. I use to make elaborate Halloween costumes and my hands would hurt too. If you have a pair of thin gloves, try that when cutting it takes some of the direct pressure off your hands.

Wow! $3, you did even better than me. And yes, I was a Private School gal, I know all about that bending over and check'n first. I am past the age demographic for Yoga Pants. I could wear them, I shouldn't be allowed to though. I use to shop for clothes all the time at Kohls, their buyers for my age group just seemed to move away
from what I was looking for. I will try again. The stores here are in odd places so you have to actually head to them vs them being with groups of stores, so I don't just happen upon Kohls, it is deliberate.

Ill pass on the potatoes. I still get nightmares when I worked in a restaurant. peeling and cleaning 10Kg of garlic, 50 kg of potatoes, who knows how many calamari.... every day for 6 months was not funny (my poor hands!)

I don't know the answer to that one but I'd ask the question in the WDW character picture thread. Most of those folk on the photo threads are real nice. Every once in a while someone snaps and gets snarky to a newbie but for the most part they are helpful to each other. I have not posted any of mine there but I love going to look at them.

When I joined he seemed well behaved and well leveled. But then suddenly seen like he collapsed and started to act like had some serious muti problematic facets on his persona.
Sometimes being way too pushy.
other times tries to get attention at all costs
other times just way too depressed.
other times full of valor and jumps to do things that are complex. (his last jump to Africa explains this)

Still, he could just say he was going to africa and just leave the board. Who knows.

He is one smart young man. And I'll give you all the erratic traits you mentioned, but I don't poke at him. He seems to have clarity here and there and does recognize the erratic stuff you mention. He actually spills out some very interesting thoughts which I enjoy and some other stuff at time I find best just to leave alone. It works, no harm no foul.
