From what I can tell I think I like the two tone ones the best. Do you dip them to get that effect? I'd love to see a picture of your tree in a few months. It sounds so pretty.

I'll check my home cmp, I think I have pictures of the tree that I made a few years ago with nothing the blue toned ornaments. It was really pretty.

And no I don't dip them, they're actually painted on the inside. it's a process that takes about 15-20 minutes per bulb, and involves very delicately dropping paint basically drop by drop into the ornament, then mixing it around very carefully. It's quite a process but I actually rather enjoy doing it. Not many people do it and not many people who try this succeed at it. Usually they turn out very crappy and end up in the trash. I've met many people who have tried and all who have failed, lol

I originally had planned adding weight for stability, but even so, I think my pattern is flawed and it's just not working.

But...lemonade from lemons....I'm going to make "pet baskets" using them glued to death on the front of the basket, and full of pet treats. They'll sell well at craft shows come November and December. I'll take a pic of the plushes later...when I feel more alive.

My Mom would buy the baskets for Walt at a craft show.

It's 9:30 pm and I'm drinking coffee. Already had a two hour nap... Today took the wind out of my sails!

I didn't get a nap. Good thing too cause I was drinking Starbucks while searching for that perfect dress. I rarely go alone, usually DD goes with me but she was buys freezing her tush off at the football game.

Sympathy like.

I'm not ready for winter. All eight months of it.

We had real snow flurries then rain. I put on a winter coat and a headband to walk Walt. It was winter nasty.

Right? Cracks me up! I admit I like to take my (very,very gay) male friend dress shopping with me when I had to go to a dreaded wedding...because I would go for all black (think funeral) and he always brightens it up.

The next wedding I attend will be HIS!!! So excited!

Oh how cool. One of my oldest friends just married his guy last year. A hoot of a wedding. I have got to say though he is great with fashion, his counterpart not so much. My DH, well he can't go shopping. He smiles and likes everything, I need that critical eye.

SYMPATHY LIKE. it selected here for a few minutes and I literally had tears in my eyes. I can't. I just can't. This winter is going to kill me.

Yeah, how 'bout it. We didn't get summer 'till July, we've barely eek'd into Fall and I had to see snow.

Our summer didn't really start till July too and ended at the end of August.

Yeah, I am vertically challenged so I need to visit that petite department. If I try the average department especially for dresses and pants everything hit wrong, nothing like the hips portion of the dress or pants hitting ya in the middle of your thigh. I have good luck with mid-thigh shorts at Eddie Bauer's, plus their pockets are deep so my cell doesn't keep falling out!
