Stop the presses! That's too many "make you's"!! :jawdrop: I mean, if I tried to have all those emotions at the same time, wouldn't I, (at a minimum), be clinically insane?! Or worse, wouldn't I perish from the exertion of said emotional stress, causing me to spontaneously combust??!!
Well, that's pretty much an exaggeration. If the film maker is able to cause the viewer to feel any intended emotion at a time, than that's a good film maker. I think I have some tricks up my sleeve. The main trick is to get the viewer to feel how the characters might be feeling. To "experience" it as if you were actually there.

Oh Wow! My friend was legally blind without contacts in. He had corrective eye surgery a few years back. He said the best moment after was waking up and seeing the time on an alarm clock, something that never happened in his 40 years.

And on a different note: How is the new job going? Is it a good fit for you?

Thanks for asking. The new job is awesome! Yes, I took a few thousand dollar pay cut and am working about 10 more hours a week - and it is well worth it! Being at a school (and in a system) where music is considered valuable and important and the PR machine is not more important than the kids actual education is priceless.

The increased time commitment is why I have been absent from the thraed for the past month. But, I wouldn't trade back to where I was for anything at this point.

Also, for the record (I know you were kidding) but I would never let my cat outside without a leash. She doesn't want to go out anyway, but even so, there are barn cats, fox, snakes, hawks, cars, and all kinds of other things out there. I'd like to keep her alive.

I hear ya!! Same here, our house cats don't go out and don't even want to - they're all de-clawed, so no real defense against all of the other critters and the cars. I used to have a male barn cat that was abandoned young and I bottle fed and raised him. He was the sweetest and we would let him out during the day and he would always come back inside in the evening. One day he got into a fight on the sidewalk with another cat and I opened the door to go outside and put a stop to it. One of the house cats made a beeline out of the house and straight for the other cat. She sent him off running. Right after that she realized that she was outside and she started shaking and crying for me to pick her up and take her back inside. She wasn't hurt or anything, but I was surprised how bad she wanted to be back in the house - especially since she was originally a barn cat!

That's odd.
Hot cross buns are only available up here just before Easter; ergo, I would have expected HCB Day to have been in March or April.
If you won't put Thanksgiving on the proper day, don't expect us to have Hot Cross Buns day coincide with whatever foolishness you are doing in Canada, eh! Fall in step there. As soon as Quebec separates you will be part of the US and will live in the State of Ontario and do things the right way. ;)

Quebec wants to be a state? First time hearing that! You are kidding, right?

@seahawk7 , so glad to read that you had a great time in Seattle! I'm sure there will be more highlights of your trip to come, and I'm looking forward to those. My question to you is this: did you drink lots of coffee out there? My niece lived in Seattle for a few years, and she told me that Seattle is a well-known coffee mecca. (I love really good coffee!) :)
Yes I did. Starbucks was started out there. I think that is why they are known for coffee.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
