There's an accessibility option that lets you make the text size bigger if that's what you need. I feel your pain; I've been farsighted my whole life. I dread what my vision will be like when I'm older. Comes with its perks, though; my distance vision is excellent.

Is the accessibility option on an iPhone? I need to know more about this. Most things I can enlarge but other things like Twitter doesn't nor does text messages.

My farsightness started when I turned 40. My distant vision was always pretty good, I had glasses for when my vision slipped when I was over tired or had a lot of eye strain but rarely need to wear them. When I was pregnant with my DS my vision went to 20/20 and stayed that way after he was born. My ophthalmologist said he has seen that happen before but didn't have an explanation for it beyond Yay!

I was thinking about something in relation to your thoughts above. There's got to be all kinds of forums out there on the internet (similar to this one, but about many different topics). What if you scouted out a forum about screenwriting, or something along those lines? Maybe you might get more professional feedback about your work, from those people, which might be more helpful to you. :)

It's always good to associate with like-minded enthusiasts in the same field of interest, as that can open doors for you. For example, tonight I aligned myself with my dog's keen sense of smell, to assist me on the hunt (in the refrigerator  . . . )to find something delicious for dinner. Success! I opened the refrigerator, and he barked at the cooked chicken, on the bottom shelf. Chicken it is! (He was very excited with our mutual decision.) I then nuked up some rice and green beans. See how collaboration amongst professionals works?! It might work for you, too, with your screenwriting drafts. ;)
I totally get what you're saying, but you know me I always do things differently. The story concept is such that it can be easily altered and stolen. Telling the story to people who make a living writing screenplays is a sure-fire way to have it stolen. Additionally, the story dramatized on the screen is meant to be told to an average person, not someone who will consciously dissect story and analyze it rather than someone who will be entertained and moved by it. Basically, the screenplay is like a Disney ride. It will tug on your heart strings, make you laugh, make you cry, make you feel frightened, make you feel desperation, make you feel isolated, make you feel jealous, make you feel elated, make you feel triumphant, make you proud, make you feel love, make you feel anger, make you feel forgiving, make you feel embarrassed, make you feel bashful, make you feel relief, make you feel secure, make you feel stress, make you feel tired, make you feel joy, and make you feel renewed.

Not exactly in that order and give or take some emotions. Lol. It will be a roller-coaster of emotions and I will be able to gauge everyone's reactions to certain lines and events to see if it's effective or not.

The weather finally calmed down and we prayed and we were spared. They say three "unconfirmed" touchdowns. If you see damage, I think that confirms something! It all seemed to be going away from us then the first "touchdown" was 25 miles away through farmland when the weather pattern changed and put us in its path.

We took shelter when it looked to be getting dark as night. The second "touchdown" was ten miles away and damaged their high school and a housing community. Then we prayed some but we didn't get any storm, just a light rain and wind. Less than ten minutes later a third "touchdown" happened ten miles on the other side of us through more farmland. It totally skipped over my city. Thank the man upstairs. :)

September 10: TV Dinner Day

Way back time machine. I remember those and we actually ate them off of TV trays. It was not often usually when my folks were going out. My Sis and I would be excited to eat in front of the TV as that was never allowed. They were all those little compartments and various stuff oozed from one compartment to the other. The food was really gross.

I'm also old enough to remember the grocer stamping prices on every food item.

And I remember all that too!

(Except for the eating with your sister)

honestly, it felt colder in tracy's arm.. now thats cold!!!

I really wished I could touch the snow.. but honestly.. I was barely an hour and half in the airport..
just got out of Vancouver 30 minutes late, we barely reached the plane before it started to de-plane (they were in last call).
funnily.. not 5 minutes after the tunnel was removed.. they announced all the planes MUST get antifreeze because it was starting to snow with freezing rain (there were some planes with their wings completely sealed in ice!)

they dusted them with a orange chemical, then with a green one.
It was fun to see!.
after most planes were all "showered". they started to depart one after another in succession.

Yeah, they really try and get them out of there before they freeze again. When I worked at Ohare and things got backed up it was not out of the ordinary for planes to be de-iced multiple times.

Should be. Go to Settings-General-Accessibility. In that menu, there should be an option that says "Larger Text". Tap it. You can drag the slider to make the text bigger. If it's not big enough, turn on Larger Accessibility sizes. Supported apps will show in the larger sizes (so iMessage and others). It won't change the size of the text under your apps on the home screen unfortunately, and does not work with Facebook. But at least it should help.

It's genetic with us. My brother and I both are far sighted. Eye doctor took him first and then me and said, "Yup, exactly the same as your brother." My maternal grandmother was far sighted as well. Must've skipped my mom because she has horrible nearsightedness. AND she has readers now that she's getting older. My dad is now far sighted, but that's due to age. We were in WDW six years ago when we finally convinced him that his arm was not long enough. I handed him my reading glasses, and then he kept asking to borrow him before I finally told him he needed to get his own

I wish we didn't have to use ours - I'd much rather have the windows open and be getting some fresh air! I've got a nice breeze blowing through right now. @donaldtoo, I don't think I could handle those hot temps that you have down there!

Yeah, I used my A/C plenty this year, it was humid enough. And I know I've used it enough cause I just paid CommEd. My DD and I also have lots of allergies and the A/C helps that.

Yep, started needing the drug store cheaters for reading in my early 40's.
But, when it comes to distance, I can still see a gnat on a rat at 200 yards. ;) :)
