We got just under an inch of rain over night, never got the severe thunderstorms they were predicting. We are still getting on and off downpours and the cold front is supposed to move in later this afternoon....

I like to think of myself as a very tech-savvy person. I, however, have not used a Mac since middle school. We got rid of them in my middle and high school and did not look back. Today, I had to do a presentation for one of my classes. Teacher had a Mac. I rediscovered why I hate Macs. It was also an epic fail. Couldn't even open the file. Took five minutes just to get the presentation going

I'm thinking we had between 2-3 inches. The late morning rain netted another inch. It is still cloudy with a peek of sun here and there, so humid just under 80.

There's an accessibility option that lets you make the text size bigger if that's what you need. I feel your pain; I've been farsighted my whole life. I dread what my vision will be like when I'm older. Comes with its perks, though; my distance vision is excellent.

Phones cannot get any larger. My mom's Samsung Galaxy Express, which is the size of the regular iPhone 6, is as large as can fit in this little beauty I bought myself in Disney:

Also is the largest size that can fit in my Vera Bradley wallet that was given to me for graduation. My iPod and phone already don't fit in my shorts pockets. Can't imagine phones being any bigger.

This is my year to finally get a Disney Dooney & Bourke handbag.

I had planned on getting it last year ... until some JA rear ended my rental car at DHS. I was worried I was going to get dinged big time for the damage, so I decided to be prudent and put away $500 for my deductible if necessary. As it was, Hertz waived it off.

So, this is the year!

Thanks, I'll look at those. My Vera will not hold my iPhone 5-annoying. I can push and shove it in the slot but cant get it to snap, not that it is going anywhere. My new wristlet holds it nicely.

honestly, it felt colder in tracy's arm.. now thats cold!!!

I really wished I could touch the snow.. but honestly.. I was barely an hour and half in the airport..
just got out of Vancouver 30 minutes late, we barely reached the plane before it started to de-plane (they were in last call).
funnily.. not 5 minutes after the tunnel was removed.. they announced all the planes MUST get antifreeze because it was starting to snow with freezing rain (there were some planes with their wings completely sealed in ice!)

they dusted them with a orange chemical, then with a green one.
It was fun to see!.
after most planes were all "showered". they started to depart one after another in succession.

They have several different designs. I got that one because I just love that pattern. I tested it with my mom's phone before I bought because I'm probably getting rid of mine in about a month and hers is the one that I want. In WDW, I just got sick of having to fish out my phone/iPod from my purse. This one's nice because it comes with a wrist strap or a long strap. I prefer the long strap, but the option is nice.

That's scary. I hope it fizzles out and turns out to be nothing. Are you in a safe basement? I also read that a bathroom is a good secure spot, such as in a bathtub. Sometimes even a closet in the center of a house is an option. Let's hope that there is no storm.
