That must have been taken right after he shot Fredo!
And I remember all that too!
(Except for the eating with your sister)
The weather finally calmed down and we prayed and we were spared. They say three "unconfirmed" touchdowns. If you see damage, I think that confirms something! It all seemed to be going away from us then the first "touchdown" was 25 miles away through farmland when the weather pattern changed and put us in its path.
We took shelter when it looked to be getting dark as night. The second "touchdown" was ten miles away and damaged their high school and a housing community. Then we prayed some but we didn't get any storm, just a light rain and wind. Less than ten minutes later a third "touchdown" happened ten miles on the other side of us through more farmland. It totally skipped over my city. Thank the man upstairs.
I wish we didn't have to use ours - I'd much rather have the windows open and be getting some fresh air! I've got a nice breeze blowing through right now. @donaldtoo, I don't think I could handle those hot temps that you have down there!

It's genetic with us. My brother and I both are far sighted. Eye doctor took him first and then me and said, "Yup, exactly the same as your brother." My maternal grandmother was far sighted as well. Must've skipped my mom because she has horrible nearsightedness. AND she has readers now that she's getting older. My dad is now far sighted, but that's due to age. We were in WDW six years ago when we finally convinced him that his arm was not long enough. I handed him my reading glasses, and then he kept asking to borrow him before I finally told him he needed to get his own
Should be. Go to Settings-General-Accessibility. In that menu, there should be an option that says "Larger Text". Tap it. You can drag the slider to make the text bigger. If it's not big enough, turn on Larger Accessibility sizes. Supported apps will show in the larger sizes (so iMessage and others). It won't change the size of the text under your apps on the home screen unfortunately, and does not work with Facebook. But at least it should help.

I actually use the Accessibility - Assistive Touch option because the main button on my iPhone has been acting up as of late. I actually like it way more than the button.
And, yes. The heartbreak of Short Arm Disease.
Yeah and it doesn't help that you do close stuff all day. Now I don't know what Assistive Touch option is either.
Oy.
Accouting today: Professor goes over chapter that we haven't yet read. Recipe for confussion. As I'm sitting there just trying to follow, he starts asking us questions. He goes around the room as he's showing us the problem, and then he gets to me and asks me, "And what does this all mean?" To which I said, "I'm sorry; I honestly don't know; I'm very confused and just trying to follow you." He looks back at the question and then says, "Well, I guess that is kind of far out for you guys right now; we can be done for now." Can't believe that actually worked and he didn't make me answer the question.
Go to Settings - General - Accessibility - Assistive Touch. When you turn it on you will have a floating graphic button on your screen that you can move around and access everything that the regular button does. Press/touch it and it gives you four main options... Voice Control, Favorites, Device, Home. I like it a lot.
I was thinking about something in relation to your thoughts above. There's got to be all kinds of forums out there on the internet (similar to this one, but about many different topics). What if you scouted out a forum about screenwriting, or something along those lines? Maybe you might get more professional feedback about your work, from those people, which might be more helpful to you.
It's always good to associate with like-minded enthusiasts in the same field of interest, as that can open doors for you. For example, tonight I aligned myself with my dog's keen sense of smell, to assist me on the hunt (in the refrigerator . . . )to find something delicious for dinner. Success! I opened the refrigerator, and he barked at the cooked chicken, on the bottom shelf. Chicken it is! (He was very excited with our mutual decision.) I then nuked up some rice and green beans. See how collaboration amongst professionals works?! It might work for you, too, with your screenwriting drafts.
The funny thing is that I'm probably the only student who can say that and get away with it. I've had this guy for a semester already (Accounting 1) and was kind of the teacher's pet. It became pretty clear when he wouldn't call on me and ask 20 questions like he would other students. Then one day when we were doing group work and I was using a slightly different method than he uses and when he came around he's just like, "Whatever, I trust you; do it your way." It's not the first time he's called on me and my answer's been, "I'm really not sure, could you explain this?" or asked him to repeat the question because he's going so quickly. It is the first time that he's stopped class when I've said something. I think the class was happy because we ended really early. The guy next to me was even happier because he probably would have gotten called on next. Sometimes being the teacher's pet has its perksI love that he said you can be done for now too...maybe realizing what he had done and it was best to just stop verses trying to change direction? Good for you for being able to say that.
No snow here yet, but the temps are already down to 49 degrees. Safe to say the air conditioner is no longer running....
The accessibility menu is great. I have it set for mono audio too since I plug it into a portable speaker and you'll end up hearing only one side of the music, as if you left one earbud in. I also have the animation level turned down since it gives me a headache to watch it.Wow! The things I've learned tonight! Thanks!
High of 89 tomorrow. Not that I get to enjoy it much. I went to the doctor yesterday because I had a cough for over a week and my mom was getting concerned. He said that it is an infection, so he put me on an antibiotic, but that my allergies are also causing it and my time outdoors needs to be limited. Yet another reason to move to FloridaOur A/C is now off too! But we have a heat wave here, it is 59.
That sounds great, and very different. What a fun vacation! It's wonderful when the bugs go away, too. It makes everything you do so much more enjoyable. I've hiked in various mountains of New England; and by far, the fall season is the most pleasant with cool/cold crisp weather and no buggies!!
