Ive no desire to read the last ten pages, sorry guys.

Been meaning to post this one for a few days:

(Warning, food ahead!)

Homemade pesto (sweet and cinnamon basil from my yard!), home grown tomatoes, and the mozz cheese my friend made. Guess what we had for dinner last weekend? :)

This is what i made tonight:

Hamburger on nutty bread its a pecan almond bread) with sharp cheddar, bbq sauce...and peanut butter. :) it was fantastic! Also made whole grain onion rings and waffle fries...baked, but i doused them in veggie oil first

But it was so.. SO good. I even used the real (plastic) plates instead of paper! ...with paper towels to soak up the oil.

Anyways, i wanted to post to @Cesar R M before he leaves for his trip! Have a great trip!!
You are a very good cook. I am drooling over that mozzarella. Caprese is one if not my favorite flavor profiles.

I think the whole issues with "Likes" right now is because there are lots of posters on this site who put a lot of work and research into their posts, who have a history of being able to get great inside info, and who devote lots of time in helping answer questions in great detail. Some considered that the like board was a good way to promote these users and let them know that they are well regarded here. Being able to boost your likes just by going in Words of Wisdom, however, kind of makes it hard to use the like leader board for that purpose. Trying to alter the way people use the like button to make it serve that purpose is obviously not going to work.

I think maybe a "Top Contributor" badge for those who have proven to be important members of the forum would probably be a better solution to solve this. I know this is probably not the place to throw suggestions at the mods, and there are probably a billion reasons why my suggestion is a bad idea. But this is where it is being discussed so here is where I posted it.
I'd go along with that Top Contributor idea as long as I am one of them. Otherwise, it's a bogus idea and should not be taken seriously. Really!;)

That's a great idea! Particularly up in N&R, (as one example), there are certain people who consistently present in-depth, well-researched information, on a regular basis. Maybe the mods could select those individuals for the "Top Contributor" badge.

Although I believe that everyone who is a member of WDW Magic contributes to its overall success, I agree that there are some people, in particular, who have made notable contributions that go above and beyond. They have invested much of their own time, and then generously share their findings with all of us. So yes, there is certainly room for a special category that goes beyond multiple interpretations of the "like" button. :)

Nutty bread is so good and healthy. I get the Brownberry brand.

Actually I think it is better to just leave it like it is. I feel that way because, as I said earlier, they don't really have a lot of influence on anyone and they are just harmless communications between posters.

The problem with contributors, in the sense that you are speaking, is that it is very hard to separate the bull from the left overs. Some are very factual through research and others, obviously, have some sort of connection, but unless one of them steps up and says... Hey, guys I really am Bob Iger and I do know exactly what is planned and what will get my approval, it's mostly all pure speculation. Some educated guesses and others just pure BS from the word go. Others just echo their leaders and really only rehash old information by loyally supporting the words of others. No, I think it is far better to just have it like it has always been.

We have, without intent, proven how easy it is to manipulate the "like" count. That has thankfully rendered the entire system as having absolutely no real relevance other then communication, not superiority or special honor.

Exactly. I view the like system as enjoying the journey rather than the destination.

But didn't you just say, approximately 30 minutes ago, that you wanted to be awarded the status of Top Contributor?! You're completely changing your tune here now, and I'm beginning to wonder: are you one of those people with multiple personalities??!! o_O :jawdrop: I can't keep up with this!! Which one is it now—the sweet, humble, genteel, @Goofyernmost as opposed to the better known, rabble-rousing, barking at patrons on his bus or on his lawn, @Goofyernmost ?? :p

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I prefer the pepperidge farm one over brownberry, but am not choosy if brownberry is on sale, lol :) this one happened to be PF. The Eagle had it on sale, and i had a coupon, and it was doubled... I paid $1.20 for two loaves of bread.
Sadly, neither of these is available up here.
I think a trip to Buffalo is in order.

It depends how long it is until his next dose of meds.
