I do not think I have ever slept in at WDW even once. However, we do tend of come back to our room in the middle of the day for a quick nap before heading out to the next park.

I do enjoy sleeping in a bit on DCL. :)
Speaking of DCL, I was reading some reviews in the cruise critic and I'm facepalming. Some reviews are just so dumb.. like blaming Disney cruise line because the reviewer DECIDED TO VISIT ALASKA in the WARMEST WEEKS of the ENTIRE YEAR . Then complaining "Its too hot here!" PFF HA HA HA

2014 can be the year you can change that.

My Dad insisted we become strong swimmers 'cause my Mom can only swim as far as she can hold her breath.
I guess I could, I'm just not really that enthused to get in the water. My Mom built a pool in her backyard because she loves to swim, and I have gone in once since it was built 4 years ago. But I do love to near the water.

You know what's funny?

I miss HGTV for when it was meant for the Average Joe. Once they started marketing themselves it was all over.
I use to enjoy Rachael Ray, now she has brought herself down notches by being the front gal for all the dudes and their floundering shows she is marketing. The one I got the most sick of and quickly was the Cake Boss. Likely Buddy always was a headcase however now he is over the top in love with himself.

I use to watch the Food Channel religiously, it was fun. Now not so much.
Yeah the Food Channel is not that fun to watch anymore. I do enjoy watching Top Chef on Bravo, and currently they have Top Chef Duals which features two celebrity chefs cooking three rounds against each other.

Swimming is a life skill that everyone should have.
Oh I can swim it's just not pretty when I do. If I go in the pool, I can swim for a long time without needing to stop. But I usually won't get in. Now swim in a body of water? I don't want to if I can help it. I swam in the Pacific in Hawaii when I was younger and I don't wish to do it again.
Now put a mountain in front of me and I will climb that every time. I guess it's good I live in the SW.

haha...if it was up to me I would probably never go back to nap. But DW gives me that look and so I say, "ok, fine, let's take a break."

For the first 15 years we took our kids DS first trip 14 months, DD 2 months. We tended to sleep in and didn't get to the parks after having breakfast till about 11am, by then DH needed to eat again. But we generally stayed at the parks anywhere from 10pm to 1am back then even when they were small. We were all kinda nocturnal. They were not whinny needy kids and we just kept going until we could tell they had enough. Our trips were generally 14-16 days, a few a bit longer, few bit shorter. Our longest trip was over a Christmas break for the millennium, just shy of 3 weeks. The weather was warm the whole trip, we did two waterparks (yep they were both open for Christmas vacation back then.) We went down 3 days before Christmas and stayed into January. We were going to come home around the 2 week mark but my folks were with us this trip. We tacked on a week for after they left-a vacation from the vacation.
